Firefox Portable

I am curious how to successfully sync my Firefox Portable with Google Gears (Use Google Docs) to a Mac so that I can use it on a MCT in my patrol car which does not have internet access... I love Google Docs and was hoping there was a way to make this process seemless. I would also like to be able to Sync my Firefox Portable to a Windows XP machine at the station along with the Mac at home...

Is this possible or am I asking too much!

When I use my scroll bar to scroll up or down pages it lags and jerks. Can this be fixed?

I don't have this problem with 2.0.0.4.

I just finished reading a post on CyberNet ( http://cybernetnews.com/2008/06/23/portable-firefox-3-for-mac-os-x/ ) that highlighted a portable version of Firefox (to be used with Mac OS) that automatically copied an existing local Firefox profile into the fresh Firefox Portable 'installation.' While this is obviously possible to be done manually (if desired), adding an option to do this automatically could be a nice little addition!

hey guys, um i wanted to know is it possible to make the megaupload toolbar portable like the firefox toolbar
i tried to install it earlier but it always installs to the browser on the computer,
so anybody have any suggestions?

I have been using portable firfox for ages and it works ok only thing is that occasionally it tends to hang-up/pause for a few secs then continue. Firfox itself never does this. still happens with FF3 what to do . is it a bug or something else

it happens on any computer dial-up or broadband no matter what it does it.

When I updated my FF to 3.0, I've been asked whether I want to use session manager and got 2 options: yes/no. I use a session manager in TabMixPlus extension and I wasn't sure how will this choice affect it. Will "yes" enable FF session manager instead of mine? Will "no" disable it? It missed the third option - "leave it as it is".

I've been using Firefox 2.0.0.14 + FirefoxPortable 1.5.2.0 for a long time.Recently, I heard that Firefox 3.0 was released.So I downloaded the new version(FF3+FirefoxPortable 1.5.14.0) from Portableapps.com . But,I found that when I start the firefoxportable.exe, it starts numerous tasks(more than 50), and then open plently of browser windows.
I've test :
Firefox 2.0.0.14 + FirefoxPortable 1.5.2.0 OK!
Firefox 2.0.0.14 + FirefoxPortable 1.5.14.0 OK!
Firefox 3.0 + FirefoxPortable 1.5.2.0 OK!
Firefox 3.0 + FirefoxPortable 1.5.14.0 CRASHED!!!

Downloaded last night ff3.It crashes on startup the first time. It then starts but crashes when I go to options and change something. Then it crashed on the Google sign up page. Ive installed it to "H:\Astrix\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable" on a hard drive. I will have a fiddle.
