My ESR 68.2 is getting weird

Submitted by mozfan on October 6, 2022 - 12:31pm

It suddenly refuses to open some links, some drop-down menus, show some photos etc. and getting worse. Javascript is enabled. Disabling Ublock and Privacy Badger is not restoring function. I downloaded the newest version, but it started with problems so I'd rather keep mine. Using win.7. Any solutions? Thank you

Hi,

I'm trying Mozilla Firefox Developer Edition, Portable (https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox-developer-portable) version 106.0. My problem is related with the proxy settings, because, even i choose the option "without Proxy", Firefox still use the proxy configured in windows (using a PAC file).

[Fixed] Firefox 105.0.1 (Dutch) upgrade goes wrong

Submitted by Thomas_A on September 25, 2022 - 6:44pm

I'm a long time user of firefox portable and current version is 105.0 in dutch language!.

I have downloaded the new Dutch version 105.0.1 from the sourceforce pages but i think there is something wrong in this file.
Size is only 16.957.440 bytes.
And after executing i have small blue windows 10 security warning screen.
When close this screen i get another small popup that says "installer integrity check failed" ? ?.
Seems some kind of "nsis error"?.

Mozilla Firefox, portable edition in C:\...\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\FirefoxPortable.exe

firefox.exe in C:\...\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\Firefox64

When an application is restarted due to change settings within Firefox, is it restarted via the Firefox Portable loader?

Submitted by ASDSN on August 11, 2022 - 2:39am

When an application is restarted due to change settings within Firefox, is it restarted via the Firefox Portable loader? However, I have a feeling that this restart is done without through the Firefox Portable loader.
Please let me know if this is true.

Microsoft Compliance

My employer has now implemented a Microsoft check to ensure that we only run an up-to-date and supported browser. The portable apps version of Firefox fails this check. The alert message states that Chrome, Edge and Firefox are supported apps and that Firefox needs to be newer than version 91.
However I checked help in the version of Portable Firefox that I have and it states it is at version 103.0.1. It shouldn't fail the check therefore as far as I can tell.
