Firefox Portable

More of a firefox question than portable firefox specific, but can you have multiple home pages open at browser launch? I know with opera, you can save a session of however many pages, and when you open the browser, it will open those pages in seperate tabs.

Is there any way to do this in firefox?

I recently downloaded and started using portable firefox. I was very happy with it, so I loaded it onto a larger flash drive for actual travel use.

On the second drive, after reformatting and installing portableFF, when I launched the app my AntiVirus scanner shows the following alert:

Virus&Spy Protection has detected adaware.maxifiles..

From the Anti-virus website:

Maxifiles.com distributes spyware called Director. It runs hidden from the user and installs in a way to appear to be part of the operating system.

So I wiped the drive again, downloaded PFF from a different mirror, re-insatlled it, and get the same warning.

Upon install of the Adobe SVG plugin in PFF (v1.504), I believe the license acceptance is written to the registry of the host machine (WinXP). Is there anyway to get around this so there are no registry entries? Thanks.

Yesterday, when I use portablefirefox on my pc, no problem.
And this morning, at office, I connect my usb key with portablefirefox and when I start portablefirefox, there isn't no more extensions and themes...
I don't modify my repertory "portablefirefox", and yesterday, in office, portablefirefox were ok with extensions and themes.

I try to install again extensions but after restart portablefirefox, the extension say: restart firefox to install extension ??!!??

I must install again portablefirefox at the begin ??

Is it possible to import settings favoourites etc from Firefox on my C drive into Portable Firefox?
I have been able to import address book and settings from Eudora into Portable Thunderbird.

I copied my firefox profile to portable firefox and now i cannot get any of the extensions to work when i load portable firefox on my jumpdrive. i can, however, get everything to work if i copy the whole portable firefox folder to a harddrive and run the program from there. on the umpdrive, firefox either doesn't open or opens with no extensions usable. does anyone have any suggestions or must i copy portablefirefox to and from a computer each time i use it? could it be my jumpdrive? it's only 64mb and kind of old. i don't think that should be an issue though. thanks

I am using a portable Hard Drive, which has both Firefox and Thunderbird on it. They are installed in their reprected folders. (/program files/Firefox & /program files/Thunderbird)

I was wondering if there is a way to link the mail icon on the portable Firefox to link to the Thunderbird e-mail software, rather than the default one of the pc I am working on.

On Portable Firefox Live page, it says a brand new version is coming soon. May I ask if the new version will support running firefox directory from the readonly media, or still copy it to a temp directory and run from there?
