Hello! I'm having a some issues with the new version of the gPodder installation. The portable app is unable to locate the proper version of Python.

When I try to view the built-in help in Lynx (by pressing h or ?) the following message is displayed:

Alert!: Unable to access document.

I browsed the app directory, and the help files seem to be there, in \PortableApps\LynxPortable\App\Lynx\help\

I've added a shortcut to virtuawinportable.exe in my windows 7 startup directory with a bunch of other portable apps (firefox, skype, etc.)

They all start up nicely after having logged on except virtuawin. If I add a shortcut to virtuawin.exe it works but we're supposed to start virtuawinportable.exe first if I am correct.

Any ideas?

i am new to portable apps and in my toolkit i'm putting together thanks to this awesome website, one of the things i need is an irc client that supports ssl and blowfish and while i haven't tried PChat yet i am wondering if this is possible? being able to connect using ssl and blowfish on a different computer without either installed? i apologize for my ignorance but i am very new to all of this and my enthusiasm makes me in a hurry to learn more.

I use Chrome Portable on my USB stick but for some reason when I add an extension, say tweetDeck on computer A, when I plug in my stick to computer B the tweetDeck extension shows up but its icon is a question mark, and I get a "not found" error.

Is there any way to fix this? Operating system is Windows 7 64bit if that helps.

Does anyone know if there's a way to have PChat maintain your IRC nick (like when your client disconnects and reconnects with alternate nick, to have it automatically reclaim it on timeout). Apparently Xchat has a /maintainnick feature but didn't see it in Pchat.

i use the "regshot" but this programm runs in demo mode on other pc´s...it will need a regfile, but how to store it on a usb stick??
