The Easter Weekend has been and gone. I think I read that the release of 2.0 was being deferred until after the Easter Weekend in order to maintain a better release profile.

Just wondered what lead time we should now expect?

My install keeps failing when it tries to extract PNotesPortable.jpg. When it fails, the Install Wizard freezes and all I can do is Cancel. Then, the flash drive is unreadable. I have to eject the drive and then reinsert it for everything to look right again. I've downloaded the exe file twice and both times the same thing happened.

I'm trying to install the Standard Suite, Version 1.6.1 on a 16GB Sandisk Cruzer plugged in to a PC using Windows XP-Pro Version 2002 SP3.

Any suggestions?

Hi, Not sure if I am asking in the right forum place, but hopefully someone can help me, please. I have a Palm Tungsten C which has wi-fi. I have available a 1gb SD card to load the apps onto.
I am not too swift with computer things that aren't really straight forward. In fact I am still recovering from a combat type brain injury and have to work pretty hard to make much of anything work right for me.

I downloaded the suite onto my computer desktop. It opens up there OK. How and what do I do to sync all this to my PDA?

If I tried to use the "Open with" dialog to tell Windows 7 to use Notepad++Portable to open .txt files, for example, after selecting the the executable, the dialog box shows the name of the executable as "PortableApps.com Launcher" instead of "Notepad++ Portable". It does show the correct icon.

Why is that, and is there a fix? Thanks.

I accidently ran firefox in the app/ directory and started accumulating bookmarks, passwords etc. in the wrong place because it came up first in Search.

I was wondering if the non-portable executables could be marked hidden, or renamed without the .exe extension or something, so that they could only be invoked by the portable launcher.

established a program to create portabe software - PortableApps.comLauncherGenerator.exe. In the installation folder placed the installation file, which should have been done in a portable version. In this case it was a mail agent. In the same folder found two programs that need to be together with PortableApps.comLauncherGenerator.exe. - NSISPortableANSI_2.46_Rev_2_English.i NSISPortable_2.46_Rev_2_English. In the process of creating a portable software creates a file PortableApps.comLauncher and thus cause errors.

I have already some portable apps but they are not in "Portableapps.com" how do i add them to my Portable apps menu?
Actually that portable apps is "Revo uninstaller and IObit Toolbox etc"

Please have the menu appear in ALT + TAB as a regular "app" next update, it would be appreciated because I am using it a lot now and I'm sick of having to go to the notification area all of the time.
