PortableApps.com Platform

hello,

I am having problems ejecting my USB drive after using PortableApps. If I insert the USB drive, do a few file copies from File Explorer, then eject the drive, all works fine. But if I launch PortableApps, shutdown PortableApps, then try to eject the drive, it tells me that there are files open on the drive. I've checked in Resource Monitor and I cannot see any files open on my USB drive but it still won't eject. I am using version 21.2.2 of the platform which I believe is the most up to date. Any suggestions as to what is causing my problem.

I am really annoying having PortableApps Platform showing up in Windows Alt-Tab:

Windows never included its Windows start menu in the Alt-Tab so why does PortableApps does that ?
I do not understand the concept behind? why do you need this ?

the update dialog displays "2022-06-00" in the date field for SumatraPDF 3.4.6.
That's not really a big deal or problem, it just tells me that is a manually entered date, in stead of the upload date.
Just liked to mention it.
I made a screenshot, but cant see how to attach it here.

Sometimes applications as FileZilla Portable, or WSCP portable starting with message:

FileZilla Portable (PortableApps.com Launcher)
"FileZilla Portable did not close properly last itme it was run and will now cleanup. Please then start FileZilla Portable again manually."

how can I rid away this?

Some Apps need Java to work.
Most of them needs an actual JRE, which is also a much smaller installation-file than the full JDK.
The JRE has also its own directory at sourceforge: https://sourceforge.net/projects/portableapps/files/OpenJDK%20JRE%20Port...

But in the App directory I can only find the JDK version to download, not the JRE (or maybe I'm to blind to see it.)

I'm working on a thumb drive for soon to be CompSci student who just graduated high school when I'd noticed that the core folder icons PortableApps creates aren't all from the same cookie cutter. My OCD kicked in a bit and I made them all to have the same folder shape and similar colors to the originals. I placed them in the ..\PortableApps\PortableApps.com\App\Graphics\WindowsFolderIcons folder and replaced the originals, but for some reason when I tried it on a new PC they just looked like normal folders.
