Whats wrong... I just stops, and my Menu look like this!!

And I have to unplug the device and reconnect it. Than some times it work, if not, I try again...

Can anyone help me?

i'd like to know if PAM depends on the removable storage service on windows xp to work properly
my removable storage service is set to manual startup, should it be set to automatic?

Whenever I open the PortableApps Menu it always looks like this: http://marknharris.googlepages.com/Messedupmenu.jpg

When I ran Windows XP it looked right, but now that I'm running Windows Vista it looks messed up.

I tried updating the menu app but it still looks messed up.

Please can someone give me some clues on how I can change the varying shades of grey surrounding the white curved arrow in PAM's icon in the system tray to varying shades of the red used for menu's default surround.

I would like it to stand out more amongst all the other icons in the system tray and to diffentiate it when I have two running testing a beta.

I wouldn't mind if one of you graphics experts found it was quicker to do it for me than to describe how to.

I have windows XP

I downloaded and installed the standard suite. I installed portable apps to the folder:

C:\portable apps

I noticed that my C: drive has been renamed to "Portable Apps (C:)" and the icon for the drive has been changed to the PA menu icon.

I would like very much to fix this.

On the portable apps download page, the image shows that the menu has an
eject button beside the exit button.
On my menu, the eject button is not displayed.
What is wrong?

after clicking on "start portableapps" in the autoplay menu, i get another menu asking what should windows use to open the file with.

already tried this on a few xp machines and i still get the same thing.

any idea?

Hello everyone! I'm new in this forum. I was trying to run PortableAppsMenu on my Windows ME with 1158x864 resolution and I get the error message below:

USB: 1 GB MP3-Player USB 2.0
Portabel-Apps: Suite 1.0, Patched from 1.0 to 1.0.1

Got these Error-Messages in the Win-Explorer anytime I'd like to open the Apps from my USB-Player.

The only thing that works ist the portableApps-Menu, but even if I'd like to start any app using the menu, the Message-Box appears.

Have done the installation as told in the guide, directly into the root of my player...and there it appears under "Workplace\MTP Player\Internal Storage\PortableApps"

Any Guess?

Dear sirs,
I am using the portable apps menu on 2 systems : one "workstation" PC with 19" screen 1280*1024, and one notebook (ACER travelmate 653Lci) with a 15" screen at a resolution of 1400*1050. Whenever I use the menu on my workstation the menu shows correctly, whenever i show the menu on my notebook the menu shows "strange" (also in 1280*1024 resolution). I haev 19 programs installed
What do I mean by this :
The menu is (according to me)made out of 2 items : a background and the contents.
