Cannot add custom apps

Submitted by tyrl on October 2, 2014 - 8:57am

Hi,

I'd created a folder name Light Image Resizer, put all relevent files inside (tested working) and move it under \PortableApps folder.

However, it didn't show up in the platform menu at all. I'd tried F5 and refresh app icon thingy.

Any ideas?

PA-Launcher 10th icon looks wired

Submitted by humbug on September 24, 2014 - 3:33am

I created an own theme based on the default one. I also assigned new icons to the categories which i renamed before.
Now the problem: the icon of the 10th category looks wired although it`s the same icon like for all the other categories. If i take another icon and give it the same name like the category has, it`s the same. No matter which name the category has or which icon i assign...this one always has no alpha and seems to be stretched.

This is how it looks:

12.0.5 Color Changes?

Submitted by aionon on September 17, 2014 - 4:28pm

If you're going to change the built in colors of the interface, as is indicated in the change log to 12.0.5, you should at least include customer colors (which was hinted at as coming in another post while I was looking for an answer). There is nothing more personal than color when it comes to someone's interface, and changing the blue color from a nice dark blue, to robins eg blue... is totally lame.

ERROR: Could not find the portableapps.com platform main exe

Submitted by bigpallooka on September 15, 2014 - 8:24am

After a reboot I get this message. When I look at the folder it should be in everything (file names and extensions) everything is gobbledygook. Random characters and symbols of all types. Should I just delete the folder and re-install? I did have an unscheduled shut-down on my Win 7 machine which must have corrupted the flash drive?

Cannot Close the Platform

Submitted by mrburns42 on September 15, 2014 - 8:01am

I attempted to install 12.0.5 on an external USB HD. Everything went OK. I realized that it found some old portable apps that I did not want to have installed anymore. I attempted to delete them, but must have made some mistake.

Now I cannot close or exit the Platform. Whenever I attempt this, I get a dialog box that says "There are no more files." The box has an OK button that closes the box. However, press "OK" only closes the box. The Platform is still in my tool tray. The only way to get rid of the Platform is to kill it with Task Manager.
