Will LibreOffice be updated to 7.5 soon?
Hi,
It's possible to create an online installer for LibreOffice?
The problem with an online installer is that it must extract the content of an LibreOffice installer, for example 'LibreOffice_7.4.3_Win_x86.msi'.
I have found a tool for extract all .MSI files and it's name is LessMSI.
Details about LessMSI:
• author's web site: https://lessmsi.activescott.com/
• GitHub project page: https://github.com/activescott/lessmsi
Because of some internal changes (Hunspell right now requires and uses an 64-bit version), LanguageTool right now effectively supports only the 64-bit version of the LibreOffice.
I know, this was discussed many times in the past, even from myself. But: could we reconsider to do so? Because of the topic and the fact, that many things has changed since the last such discussion? And we don't need a big installation with both 64-bit and 32-bit versions inside, like FFx. The Google Chrome like separate distribution should be ok.
If I try to install new or update an old extension, after a while I just see the following message: "an error occurred during file opening".
I would post some logs only if I knew where to find them.
Hello
(The OS is Windows 10)
I’ve used Portable LibreOffice for years.
Now, Portable LibreOffice Writer is pretty much unusable. The last couple of versions of LibreOffice Writer are forcing me to look for another app.
Creating & setting templates has become a nightmare.
The English (GB) spellcheck doesn’t work at all.
Installing/Removing dictionaries doesn’t work properly, or, when it does, it solves nothing.
Hello all,
I installed the multilingual libreoffic but spellchecking is not working
In tools extension the german langauge pack is listed as installed, The document has german as language but no errors are flagged.
I refer to this webpage: https://portableapps.com/apps/office/libreoffice-portable-still
If I click on any of the two links there to download LibreOffice Still 7.3.6 all I get is a alert message "URL not found page. The page you requested could not be found". Someone needs to look into this and fix it, I have been waiting for weeks for this download and once it shows up it doesn't work.
The process is described here https://ask.libreoffice.org/t/no-offline-help-for-lo-portable-why/70182/6 and I can confirm that the msiexec statement works just fine
Hi, I have updated LibreOffice to 7.4.0, since then the app starts, shows the initial banner and then closes without any error message.
If I move the Libreoffice folder, for example, to the Desktop it starts without problems.
I also tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but it doesn't change anything...
Any suggestions?
Sergio
The list of possible installation languages in LibreOffice 7.4.0 Portable MultilingualAll is missing quite a few languages like Dutch. This removes the method of just installing the selected language plus English (using the "Remove Extra Languages" during installation)
