I just compared LO Standard with all, and I see some files in the standard version, which looks like locale-dependent from non-included locales for me, but they are still here. So the question is: am I wrong, or they are really locale-dependent, but there are some other reasons, why they are not removed?
I am talking about following folders:
\share\autocorr
\share\fingerprint
\share\numbertext
\share\wizards
My LibreOffice 7.4 announced it detected an update, but when following the suggesting link to download it, it does not download the portable version of LibreOffice.
Doesn't make much sense IMHO.
In my working environment I cannot install software, so I set up LibreOffice inside my Documents folder.
Unfortunately the German dictionary seems missing, so I tried to install dict-de-de-frami-2017-01-12.oxt.
However that never worked: Installation begins, but aborts, and the result is some half-way installed German dictionary.
Interestingly I copied the portable folder from Documents to Downloads, and then I could install the extension, and I verified it's working.
LibreOffice Portable:
Fresh: should be 7.5.1 (from 29 March 2023: 7.5.2) (at now 7.4.5: as still)
Still: should be 7.4.6 (at now 7.4.5: as fresh)
Legacy: should be 7.3.7 (at now 5.4.7)
I want to download "still" (7.4.6). (I already downloaded 7.3.7, when this was the "still" version: so, 7.3.7 Portable exists, do not compile).
Hi,
I have installed Java Portable (jPortable 32 bit) and I have accepted installation location:
--> PortableApps\CommonFiles\Java
then I have launch LibreOffice 7.4.5.1 - Multilingual-Standard, and I have enabled Java runtime:
--> Tools\Options\Advanced --> ticked 'Oracle Corporation ver. 1.8.0_361' --> Apply --> OK -> for setting up location then I have restarted, but Java RE remain unticked.
Why?
This had already happened with the latest builds.

Hello,
I downloaded and installed the update for my Libreoffice Still, yesterday after my regular backup.
Today I found out that my vLookup to other files stopped working. Searching for the version number I came to see that I have now 7.4.5 (supposedly "Still") but the version for the "Fresh" type on the download page is 7.4.3 ?
Seems the have been switched and the later version (7.4.5) should be the "fresh" one ...
Will LibreOffice be updated to 7.5 soon?
Hi,
It's possible to create an online installer for LibreOffice?
The problem with an online installer is that it must extract the content of an LibreOffice installer, for example 'LibreOffice_7.4.3_Win_x86.msi'.
I have found a tool for extract all .MSI files and it's name is LessMSI.
Details about LessMSI:
• author's web site: https://lessmsi.activescott.com/
• GitHub project page: https://github.com/activescott/lessmsi
Because of some internal changes (Hunspell right now requires and uses an 64-bit version), LanguageTool right now effectively supports only the 64-bit version of the LibreOffice.
I know, this was discussed many times in the past, even from myself. But: could we reconsider to do so? Because of the topic and the fact, that many things has changed since the last such discussion? And we don't need a big installation with both 64-bit and 32-bit versions inside, like FFx. The Google Chrome like separate distribution should be ok.
