LibreOffice Portable

I just ran the update to LibreOffice 3.4.4.1 and when I try to start the app from the PortableApps menu and while the application is loading for the first time, a Windows error dialog pops up saying LibreOffice 3.4 has stopped working. The splash window is still open and the last message shown is always Enabling Hungarian dictionary, hyphenation, thesaurus.

This behavior repeats every time I try to start the application.

By the way. This is on Windows 7 64-bit using the latest version of the PortableApps platform.

LibreOfficePortable_3.4.4.1_MultilingualAll.paf.exe

the file is just 20.1mb long and therefore does not work.

The 'normal' file downloads correct.

as they seem not to be on SF, I did not figure out how to change the mirror etc.

Can something not be done about it. I have my norton set to submit things. It is really a problem. Can't something be done to submit the build to Norton first before releasing it?

I installed the latest LibreOfficePortable Version 3.4.4 and JPortable1.6.29 on a W7x64 computer.
Starting Scalc I got a lot of warnings that Java is needed to run LibreOffice properly.
Via Extras/Options/Java I tried to choose my portable java installation, but the corresponding button has no effect, no browser window opens to select an installation,...

How to solve that problem.

The portable apps platform wishes to download a new version 3.4.4 of LibreOffice, but every time I allow it to continue it fails with

I'm on Windows 7 Professional, fully patched and run portable apps on a Sandisk Cruzer micro 16Gb. Language is British English

Any ideas what's wrong?

OOPortable had a feature to run on terminal server: .ini option SettingsDirectory - to use separate folders. LibreOffice does not have this feature and users see a warning every time they start office. Option SingleAppInstance cannot help in this situation. Is there any workaround?

Title pretty much says it all.

The installed LO takes about 1-2 seconds to start up, while LO Portable takes about 8 seconds (warm start) and 13 seconds (cold start). Of course, from the same drive.

Now, I did not install the regular LO with everything, so maybe it's not a fair comparison. But still, it seems like too big of a difference.

The PDF file is created, but the options dialog box never appears. Something I need to enable/disable to get at the security choices?
