LibreOffice Portable

When I used OpenOffice I liked that I could use the Navigator to show every tab, every heading level, all at once. It was like I could see my whole project at a glance.

Now that I'm using LibreOffice the Navigator seems to require a click on each + symbol, no matter how many levels of headings I tell it to show. Every single time I open a document it's the same deal. How can I make it more like the way I used Open Office's navigator? Thanks!

This isn't really an issue, but it surprised me, so I thought I would ask about it ...

I normally have my regular programs in "G:\Program Files\". (And used to run LibreOffice Portable from "G:\Program Files\LibreOffice Portable").

I was using an older version of LibreOffice Portable, and set it up on a thumb drive and moved it to that folder and ran it from there - no problems, worked fine.

I already posted this bug under the info on LOP 3.5.5 release:

The smaller installer of LOP 3.5.5 does not contain Polish interface language pack. I have just installed the update and it offers all previously available UI languages, but no Polish. Locale is automatically set to Polish, there are writing aids for Polish, but there is no language pack for user interface...

I dont know why it happens again and again that a new portable libre version is released but it do not start at all - instead it crashes at once.

Mainly the problem comes from installation path and as soon as we tell you the problem via this forum most propably a few days after you fix it.

I dont understand why the problem is not solved before the new version is released. Is it again and again another problem to be fixed?

I tried to download Liber Office Portable 3.5.5 both from libreoffice.org and form here:
- I got an error of "Insufficient Permissions" for both sources, after whole file seemingly was already downloaded, so the downloaded was unable to be finalized

on another try when the files either from libreoffice.org or this site, were downloaded successfully, when I click on them, I got the following error message:

NSIS Error
Installer integrity check has failed.Common cause include
incomplete download and damaged media. Contact the
installer's author to obtain a new copy.

I don't visit the forums here often but when I do I notice that there seems to be a lot of grumbling about the lag between the desktop and portable version releases of LibreOffice.

I want to say thanks because not only was this last release pretty speedy but I just plain old appreciate that anyone makes these at all. I know it takes time to do and no charge is required and I am thankful.

Just to let you know:-

Installed the above version of Libre Office and Norton Sonar has removed soffice.bin (soffice.bin) giving the following reasons:- Suspicious Behaviour detected , Users Unknown, Risk High, Origin Not available, Activity Threat Actions Performed: 3 .

Result is LibreOffice does not work.

Before the Run the app tick box is presented, the app got launched.

I Recently upgraded both, the platform and most of the applications.
Now on a call for LibreOffice it shows the small window for startup, tells me something about a repository for bundled extensions, announces starting a danish (?!) spell checking dictionary and then ...
The progress bar reaches about 50% ...
The LO-startup-window vanishes and no further action is to be seen.

I have tried both: the upgrade by PortableApps and the ...paf.exe from LibreOffice site. Same result.

A windows install of LO (same version) on the same system works fine.

Latest Version will not install, corrupted?
