The latest version of Norton detects
WS.trojan.h in unopkg..exe
Hi.
I've just upgraded 3 thumb drive Libre Office installations using the built in portable Apps installer.
The Y:\PortableApps\LibreOfficePortable\App\libreoffice\Basis\share\template\pt-BR\wizard\styles folder on my 4gb thumbdrive is corrupted and according to Windows explorer contains 40,204,611,584 bytes of data!
The disk is still readable and all the software appears to work fine, BUT....
The problem is that I can't delete that folder (or any above it) AND worse, on the other two thumb drives I had this program installed on I've had SERIOUS problems.
I've just installed LibreOffice Portable.
I tried to access 'LibreOffice Help' on the 'Help' menu, but it just opens a webpage that tells me what the items are on the 'Help' menu! Rather circular!
Am I missing something, or is there just no Help available?
I know that it is a known bug in LO.
However, I am wondering if there is any plan (from LO team) to fix it.
I browse LO official website but I can't find any information about it; They require to subscribe to their mailing list, which I think that too troublesome for me.
I try to search in Google and find out some suggestion to remove any space from the file name; Well, it is a silly solution, something like "you have rats in your house and you are requested to only consume food, which rats can't eat"
Hey guys,
just wanted to get your thoughts on this:
ClamAV finds a PUA called 'BlackRain' in this file:
App/libreoffice/program/sdmi.dll
As such, it isn't an issue with the launcher, and I guess it's not the dll compression either, seeing there's only one file affected.
For comparison, I've downloaded the 'regular' LibreOffice and installed it, and ClamAV doesn't find anything there. Also the old OpenOfficePortable 3.1.1 that I'm using has a file of the same name, but without malware alert.
Had warning this morning,
Symantec Endpoint Protection Notification:
regmerge.exe Trojan.Malcol
regview.exe Trojan.Malcol
Symantec, also, apparently has issues with these files.
i could not install any of the libre versions using next prerelease version3 platfom/manage app/install new app (i also tried with earlier platform versions and same error); error: "extract error writing to file th_nb_NO_v2.dat." only problem w/ libre, all other apps installed ok. help/thanks.
Tried on XP, w7 and now also on w2k (just to see what it does) and did so far not manage to launch 3.4.3
it crashes on loading some of the extensions bundled extensions, either nonlinear math or some others.
It crashes also apparently on file soffice.bin.exe
Tried clean install, same effect, xp, w7 are not able to launch it at all.
Furthermore, when attempting to launch it from the next computer, I am getting a message saying that other users are running this copy already. As user is indicated the name of the computer where the stick was inserted as last.
I have just downloaded LibreOffice 3.4.3 Portable en-Fr, but after it was installed, I saw that the user interface was in French. What should I do? Thanks in advance. Have A Nice Day!
Hello!
LibreOffice Portable only has a poor online help.
I would like to know, if there's a way to integrate offline helppacks into LibreOffice Portable?
Best Regards,
