Problem Installing Sparkline Extension

Submitted by sheffieldma on March 14, 2012 - 12:38am

I am getting an error while trying to install a free extension called EuroOffice Sparkline. The extension is listed in the OpenOffice extension catalog and also here:
http://www.multiracio.com/index.php?lang=en&style=eurooffice&page=eo_ext...

I tried installing it in both LibreOffice Portable 3.5.0 and OpenOffice Portable 3.2. I get very similar error messages that I am including below. My system is a Win XP SP3 with 4GB RAM.

LibreOffice 3.5.0 crashes with too many/too large files opened

Submitted by dscullin on March 8, 2012 - 5:47pm

LibreOffice 3.5.0 crashes when too many/too large files opened in Writer - doesn't give out-of-memory warning? Running directly from USB drive, trying to open 30 or 40 .docs. Several GB of disk space on both USB and hard drive available.
Can someone write an error handler for it? Maybe just stop opening files and display the ones already opened?

How to Uninstall?

Submitted by gggirlgeek on March 4, 2012 - 4:16pm

I have the latest version (3.5 portable) and I need to uninstall. But there is no uninstall link in Programs and Features (Win7) -- (Installed without the Portableapp app manager.)

I realize I can simply delete the folder, however, there are a million entries in my registry which need to be cleaned. Why would there be an installer for an application that doesn't create an uninstall routine????

libre office 3.5

Submitted by jcruzate on February 25, 2012 - 8:11am

I have the same problem in my PC using Mc Afee, and LO 3.5 crashes. AVG don´t detects any virus but the LO 3.5 crashes too.
I resolve the problem using the program directly from flash USB (not from the PC).
When using USB LO 3.5 works fine in both cases.
Hope this help until the false positive for filterconfiglo.dll be removed

LibreOffice 3.5 Upgrade - Webpage Wizard causes forced close.

Attempting to launch the Webpage Wizard causes LibreOffice's Writer to force close.

No error message beyond the generic "LibreOffice.exe has stopped working".

Reproducible by attempting;
1) Launch LibreOffice from PAM.
2) Select Text Document/Writer.
3) Select File>Wizard>Web Page.

Win 7 Pro 32-bit
Originally occurred following upgrade from previous version of LibreOfficePortable.
Remove Extra Languages option selected upon install.
Doesn't occur with fresh install.

New "Install" of LibreOffice Can't Find On-Line Help URL

Submitted by Iggy64 on February 21, 2012 - 11:12am

I have downloaded the latest version of LibreOffice Portable and run the installer on my Win XP system. (This is my first time trying LibreOffice in Windows.) I am able to open and run the individual modules, but I cannot access the on-line help files directly from the "Help" menu. When I try to do so, I receive an error message saying that LibreOffice cannot find the target URL.

This is not the end of the world, since I know where the on-line help site is, and I can open a browser and go there. However, this is not as convenient as using the "Help" menu to connect there.
