This involves language switching but also %PATH%, %PURPLEHOME% and all the other env. vars! (I'm actually surprised it's even running !)

The (Unicode NSIS) System::call's don't seem to deal with:

System::Call 'Kernel32::SetEnvironmentVariableA(t, t)***********'

If I remove the A's, and re-compile language switching works again, and all the other env.vars are set properly again !

Spell Checking has seem to have changed for pidgin users from the usual Aspell to OOo dictionaries, but has yet to be corrected in the Portable Apps version.

You'll need to install it to PidginPortable\App\pidgin\spellcheck\share\enchant\myspell yourself.

has anyone else had any sort of weird crashing problems with pidgin i'd installed 2.7.0 a few weeks back and for some reason you couln't uninstall the spellcheck and when i booted it up the spellcheck would cause it to crash so i rolled it back to the version i'm curently using

As of version 2.7.0, Pidgin ships with a private GTK+ runtime and doesn't include extra themes or a GUI theme switching application.

There is an easy way to use the GTK+ theme binaries and theme switcher that Alexander Shaduri maintains. Note that we don't recommend you use the GTK+ installer he distributes unless you know what you're doing and have a good reason for doing so.

Download the GTK+ Themes and GTK+ Theme Switcher zip files and extract them to a temporary directory.

A person who use a portable aMSN can't receive my offline messages. On the other hand I can read offline messages from that user. Doesn't anybody of you know what is wrong?

I installed the latest version of malwarebytes anti-malware and updated the definitions.

It then ran it and it found a "Trojan.Agent" in:

PortableApps\FileZillaPortable\App\filezilla\filezilla.exe

Any possibility this is a legitimate infection?

Can someone else run malwarebytes anti-malware and tell me if their portablapps filezilla.exe is infected too?

I recently installed pidgin portable 2.6.6 upgrading 2.6.4
since then, every chat I run with my friends doesn't create a log, and no older log (i.e. the one from the previous release) can be found.

Did I trickly set some strange preference? I had already check if the log is abilitated ... and it is....
