I installed FileZilla Portable and did not recognize the path of the setting. After several tests I found that was because in the path one directory have the character "$" and this is a problem for FileZilla related to environment variables that begin precisely with that character ($). I had to rename my directory and everything was normal. With other portable applications this problem never appeared.

I mention this in case someone experiences something similar and if possible fix in an upcoming release.

I use Pidgin for ICQ, MSN and Google Talk.

ICQ=OK
MSN=OK
Talk=disconnect.

it shows:
" example@gmail.com/ disconnected
Server closed the connection "

I tried:
change password
Disable Firewall
go to my Gmail and enable "Chat"
restart Pidgin

what should I try next ?

Pidgin 2.7.5 has been released. Any estimate as to when its Portable version will be released?

Some of the websites I am a member of have built into their site a chatroom. A chatroom where I can add friends, see who is online and chat in an im style environment.

Is it possible to add these website chats to pidgin?

Pidgin Portable 2.7.3 is clean (so is the original Pidgin 2.7.4).

J'ai déjà d'installé pidgin en "fixe", toutefois, comme j'apprécie les versions portables, j'ai tenté la version portable de Pidgin !

A l'ouverture de pidgin, il s'ouvre, et reste en anglais... ?
j'ai cherché et pas trouvé l'astuce pour le mettre en français !
La connaissez-vous ?

Is Gaim in any version dead, not being maintained anymore ?, and if so I guess I can delete my old portable Gaim install ?

I dont know why but when I want to use Facebook via XMPP I can't log in. It always show me some errors. So I wonder does it work in portable Pidgin? I did exactly how it's written on Facebook...

Is anyone working on a portable version of this, or a zipped archive which could be used with Pidgin Portable?

I see Pidgin 2.7.4 is out, by the way.
