The download of an update to Foxit Reader keeps failing. I have version 8.1.0.1013 Rev 2, which I downloaded from this computer, and the latest version appears to be 8.1.1.1015.

If I try to download it manually I get this message in my browser:
"This request is blocked by the Firewall Gateway Anti-Virus Service. Name: (Cloud Id: 46601534) ZPACK.GEN (Trojan) blocked."

... on Jan, 10th. (https://www.foxitsoftware.com/support/security-bulletins.php#content-2017). Is an update (8.2) for the portable version on its way?

I'll report to upstream that 7.7 is faulty. But upstream faulty version displays a clear error window. The portable version just disappears.

The details are:
On XP SP3:
KchmViewerPortable 7.7 displays its small logo window and disappears.
7.5 seem to run fine.
7.7 occupies 50% more disk space, compared to 7.5. As if 7.7 has lots of new features, or something.

I have a windows pc and an android tablet. I want to use mozilla sunbird portable on a pendrive so that I can access it from either device.
Can I use mozilla sunbird portable in android 5.0 instead of windows?

So I just downloaded Sigil 0.9.7 and upon running it, nothing happens (visually). Bypassing the launcher and running sigil.exe directly I get an error message about a missing dll.

By installing KB2999226 ( https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2999226 ) : Windows Universal CRT, and then running the launcher, all is fine.

Might want to mention the dependency or include the required RTs locally

Supposedly after updating to Foxit Reader Portable 8.1.0.1013 from the previous version (not via the platforms auto updater but manually), I noticed a folder called Foxit Software in AppData/Roaming on Win10x64. I don't know what was inside the folder, if anything, sorry. Restarting Foxit and closing it did not delete it, and it kept reappearing after deleting it and starting Foxit. When I had deleted Foxit and did a fresh install of the current version, the issue did not come up again.

Hi, i installed dia with PA in Version 0.97.2 (don't know exactly) and start it, results in a ?Crash? of dia.
What could i do to solve this?

The Portable App environment writes Unicode data as ANSI into the registry, which results in that KchmViewer Portable fails to open recent files having non-Latin characters in their paths.

Here is the screenshot about what happens when recent files are opened from the File menu. The word “Английский” should be instead of the unprintable characters between words "Category" and "English".

I have v0.9.3 installed and runningOK under Win7 64b - but when I install ANY plugin they refuse to run.

eg "Flightcrew" when run against a valid ePub (that validates OK with the built in validation tool) reports an initial error of
"Error Parsing Result XML: Premature end of document".

When I click on the "Details" button I get "Fatal Python error: unable to load the file system codec. ImportError: No module named 'encodings'".
