Sunbird: Where is info?

Submitted by Beastcool on February 8, 2010 - 2:05pm

The problem is that I had created some calendars and dates, and I didn't close a program for a couple of days on my PC. Then the electricity came off and PC rebooted, and when I had started a Sunbird, all info has gone.
Can be there a possible way to restore all the info I had?

After downloading version 1.0 from:
https://downloads.sourceforge.net/portableapps/SumatraPDFPortable_1.0.pa...

I double click on the file to install it and it asks what language to install. After clicking the okay button it crashes. The program goes no further. I am using Windows XP with SP3. What am I doing wrong? I have never had this problem before. I downloaded a previous version and it installed with no problems. Please help.

AbiWordPortable 2.8.1 run problem

Submitted by bloatfoe on October 30, 2009 - 11:03am

Upon first install AW 2.8.1 on Win XP would not execute. I ran it (the actual program in \bin directory -- not the portable stub) through Dependency Walker and produced the error message:

Error: The Side-by-Side configuration information for "<path>\app\abiword\bin\ABIWORD.EXE" contains errors. This application has failed to start because the application configuration is incorrect. Reinstalling the application may fix this problem (14001).

Sunbird: Password-protecting calendars?

Submitted by axemblack on October 14, 2009 - 4:25am

Hey all,

I love this app, it's very useful to be able to take my calendar around with me! However, I'm a bit concerned, if I was to lose my memory key and someone found it, they would have access to all my appointments! So is there any way to password-protect a calendar? There is something about master passwords in the options menu but I can't figure it out.

Can anyone help?

Sunbird: How about taking notes

Submitted by albar on September 24, 2009 - 11:16am

Hello, thanks a lot to developers of the Sunbird Portable. And i just wonder, is it possible to add a feature to sunbird to take notes. Because you know, we use the callender for appointments. And i think there is also a need for taking notes after the appointment takes place.

So i would be appreciated if it is possible.
Thanks in advance,
Baran.
