Downloaded SumatraPDFportable_2.2.1.paf.exe from here & ran the extractor / "installer." It creates 2 executable files for Sumatra - in different sub folders.

One in top folder is SumatraPDFportable.exe.
The other in sub folder "\SumatraPDFPortable\App\sumatrapdf\" is named SumatraPDF.exe. Why two .exe files?

Also, when start Sumatra, both of these.exe files (exact names above) are shown in task mgr. Why two files?

How easy is it to built Abiword Portable against linux, so I can upload it to a server and run it from the command line?

I'm only using it for file conversions - it can handle more variation than most other libraries, and it's been less effort. Til now, obviously.

I have PDF files that are embedded with sounds and pop up graphics.
Is it possible to have the Sumatra PDF Portable to activate this type of graphic as the Adobe Reader [any level] can?

Today I opened Sumatra PDF and it started in english although my platform is in german. I tried italian too but Sumatra remained in english. I even deleted the /Data folder and the problem was still there.
Can anyone reproduce this?

In the current package (AbiWord Portable 2.8.6 Rev 2), AbiWordPortable.ini contains:

[AbiWordPortable]
AbiWordDirectory=App\AbiSuite2\AbiWord\bin
SettingsDirectory=Data\settings
SettingsFile=AbiWord.profile
AbiWordExecutable=abiword.exe
...

If you (like me) install and just go about copying AbiWordPortable.ini to the "top" (for instance, to change it into running from a CD/DVD - which btw AbiWord doesn't need):

\PortableApps\AbiWordPortable\

AbiWord will stop launching!

This is because AbiWordPortable.ini references (in line #2) the base executable incorrectly.

In Foxit Reader Portable the language selection does not work.

The default language is English. In my case I select German from the menu and the language changes... until I close Foxit.
When I restart the software the default language appears again!

This will even happen when I start Foxit with admin rights (Windows 7 Ultimate).

I found that version 1.9 of sumatra pdf portable is not able to save settings nor recent opened files. I had to reinstall version 1.8 and lost all the file histories. Can you please look into it?

Will the Sumatra PDF from portableapps.com gets an update too?

How do I create a "Book" ? Page numbers and all. I read it can be done using OOos "writer".
