Hello!

First of all big thanks for making the latest release of Raw Therapee available as a Portable App!

Unfortunately I cannot use it, because whenever I try to run it a splash screen appears and then the process terminates.
Did anybody notice such strange behavior?

I run Windows 7 64 bit.

As Guki42 found out here, automatic language switching is broken in InkscapePortable 92.1. The folder structure seems to have been altered in this version. Here is a fix for a new revision:
Change Line 23

CheckIfExists=%PAL:AppDir%\Inkscape\locale\%PAL:LanguageCustom%\*.*

to

CheckIfExists=%PAL:AppDir%\Inkscape\share\locale\%PAL:LanguageCustom%\*.*

Dear All,

I have installed (latest version each, all portable)

- Portable Apps Platform
- Ghostscript
- Irfan View
- Irfan View Plugins

It fails opening EPS saying
"Decode error"
"Can't load Ghostscript"

Going to
Options => Properties => Plugins => Postscript Options
you can change the custom path for Ghostscript gsdll32.dll to
Driveletter\PortableApps\CommonFiles\Ghostscript\bin

But this does not help as is fails with
"Decode error"
"Can't start Ghostscript"

I am trying to install G'mic from http://gmic.eu/gimp.shtml
I have installed the files in
...\PortableApps\GIMPPortable\App\gimp\lib\gimp\2.0\plug-ins

But it's not showing up in the filter after starting Portable Gimp.

Really appreciate if anyone could help.

just made a fresh install of the Portable Apps Platform, than installed Ghostscript, after that GIMP.
When trying to open an EPS, GIMP crashes as below.

As the subject, when will we see XnView MP as portableapps release instead of the non-unicode classic version? Most everyone by now is running some form of Unicode compliant OS so the proliferation of filenames containing Unicode characters is rising. I've already had numerous occasions where the classic version was unable to properly detect images and videos because their names consisted/contained Unicode characters.

I have the Gimp 2.8.18 portable from (https://portableapps.com/apps/graphics_pictures/gimp_portable)
and cannot install the user manual
I have tried several different locations within the portable folder and doesn't work
I appreciate very much if any of you could tell me how please

Edit > Inkscape Preferences > Interface: Language. This requires a restart of Inkscape to take effect.

But after restart it have nothing change.

PicPick Portable v4.2.0

I think there is a bug in the way PicPick Portable has been made into a PortableApp. As far as I am aware a properly constructed PortableApp should not be writing anywhere but in the PortableApp's own directory structure on the flash drive. However, on launching PicPick Portable it creates a folder at the following path:

C:\Users\UserName\AppData\Roaming\PicPick

If this is a bug it needs fixed.
