I use KeePass Portable on different machines but am having a problem with using it on my IE8 browser at work.

Instead of pasting
user name
password

it pastes
ser name
password

It misses that first character of the user name every time.

Since my usernames often begin with the letter K I can type a K in the username field on the website and then Auto-Complete works fine. This never happens in Firefox or Chrome, only IE8. My work computer is an old Pentium 4 running Windows XP Pro SP3.

Do fireclam; an addon for firefox that makes ff scan downloads w/ clam, work w/ clamwin portable using the addon w/ firefox portable? Or if n0t, could there be anyway to configure things to make it work?

Can clam sentinel be portablized?

I found an article about "testing av" and i did tried to follow steps it said to test clamwin. I copied an example virus file to a text document. I turned off the desktop's AV, renamed the txt file as mytest.com. Scanned it w/ clamwin but unfortunately, clamwin did not detected the virus. I turned the desktop's AV on, and it quickly deleted the file. Why cant clamwin detect that EICAR test virus?

After scanning I saw in RED color two virus elements MY QUETION is how can I delete it then ?

I don't know how to use KeePass.
I put a Master Password in, added a website, and re-opened my PortableApps platform but the browser doesn't seem to benefit from the password and everything on my USB drive is still unsecured.
I had hoped my whole USB drive would become inaccessible except by password.

I tried to use live chat but the gobbledegook was too much for me. All I got was a screenful of some kind of code. Maybe I need an IRC client, whatever that is, but I'm getting sick of trying stuff that leads me into yet more and more unresolvable questions.

Why is it needed when UpdateSettings already contains
Rename "$SETTINGSDIRECTORY\ClamWin.conf" "$PROGRAMDIRECTORY\ClamWin.conf"
?
(Rename=move and UpdateSettings always runs before LaunchNow)

When you change a setting, it's stored in the former location.

But every once in a while, my settings are lost. Does it mean they're reverted from the latter location?

I installed the latest version of CWP 0.96.4 and when I tried to update it cant connect to the server. Reinstalled 0.96.2.1 and it updated fine, Redownloaded and udgraded to 0.96.4 again, tried update, again can't connect error. I have reverted to 0.96.2.1 again.
Anyone else having this problem? Anyone know a solution?
