I'm a regular user of Musescore and currently run version 3.5.2 via the PortableApps platform. I know though that version 3.6.x has been released and is apparently a significant upgrade in terms of appearance. I know also that the good folk at PortableApps will provide an updated version via the platform in the fullness of time, assuming this is still technically possible.
WaveShop immediately tries to connect to the internet without warning when it is launched.
I'm guessing it's trying to check for updates. I noticed the "Check for updates" option is enabled by default in the settings.
May I recommend disabling that setting by default, and then verifying that it no longer tries to connect to the internet when launched?
I can pin Firefox Portable to the taskbar, no problem. If I click on it from the taskbar to open it, it opens up exactly where it is pinned at.
But when I pin OBS Portable to the taskbar, it won't open up where it is pinned. It will open up and appear after every other program that is pinned to the taskbar.
Just to be sure, I unpinned both Firefox Portable and OBS Portable. And then I used PortableApps.com Platform to pin both programs. Firefox Portable worked. OBS Portable did not.
This issue has been discussed on this forum in the past. The reasoning given was that there's no real benefit of the 64-bit over the 32-bit, so only the 32-bit is available on PortableApps.
Well, now there is a real benefit. OBS can use VLC directly as a source (useful for streaming). But only 64-bit VLC.
Hi.
The component that handle batch jobs "avidemux_jobs.exe" always show empty, even if I added those jobs in tje job list in main aplication. I.e not working.
Are there some workarounds for this?
Thanks in advance
I tested MP3splt for the purpose of splitting up a large FLAC file into a number of single FLAC files this week. Please be aware that the batch process fails to generate a single FLAC file for the last documented track in the CUE file. Use the program with caution as you're about to experience data loss if you decide to keep the splitted files and delete the original unsplitted FLAC file after exiting the program.
While watching a video within VLC like home movies on DVD or USB or another way for that matter. I want to Record then "pause" the recording so I can skip/remove parts I don't want to record, then continue the recording is that possible?
It seems I can't just hit the record button, well I can after you go create the directory/folder but then it writes a file with no extension, what extension is it ? and anyway to set it or change it? VLC can open it and play it, but I want to play it on other devices.
More details for either of those ??

This is a continuation of my postings regarding a problem with custom settings not being retained, encountered while testing the app for single instance issue, see the topic here: https://portableapps.com/node/62887
