Firefox Portable

I've been using Firefox Portable for a few months now, and it works on my home computers and work computer (I have admin rights on both), but when I take it to school and use it on their computers (where I don't have admin rights) it resets. It keeps all my extensions but resets them like I've never used them before, removes either all of some of my bookmarks, and resets the theme to default. Has anybody experienced this or have any solutions? Thanks in advance for any help.

I got two profiles a private and a office one. i tried to handle it with a pfofiles.ini but as already mentioned here, there is no profile manager though it wont work.

Hoped there would be some settings possiblity in an ini file that would ask to run profile 1 or 2 with a small dialog.

In another Thread you wrote there would be no request for an own programed profile manager.

any idea how i may handle my wish?

as the topic says, is that possible?
like when a change a bookmark or add a new extension this will show in both after synchronizing.

I can install firefox portable 2.0.etc.etc onto my U3 cruzer micro from SanDisk, but it doesn't install it into the tray, On the U3 site i can get an installer for version 1.5.0.10. I'd like a link to a site somewhere that I can download a .u3p file to install the newest version of firefox portable onto my U3 device.

I've been a hugely enthusiastic user of Portable Firefox for many years now - I thank you for making my life easier by creating Portable Firefox in the first place.

Yesterday I updated from v 2 to 2.0.0.2 and have noticed 2 small bugs that I thought I should bring to your attention.

1) Sometimes 2.0.0.2 opens popup windows in the wrong size. As an example, click on the link marked 'Angebot per Email' on this page in Firefox Portable 2.0.0.2 , then click on it in the non-Portable Firefox with the same version number:

FF pops up occasionally and wants me to download the "new" 1.5 version of the software. I am at 2.0.0.2. Can I prevent that pop up window from occurring?

I am using firefox 1.5 from an USB stick in various
internet cafees.

Interface language is set english and the firefox
Google is in english.

However if I go to "news" it is giving me the german
language listings even though I have not set any other
language apart from english for any functions.

Can anybody explain to me what is going on??

I updated my firefox portable from version 2.0.0.1 to 2.0.0.2 and now it won't start up!

I'm on a computer where i can not innstall firefox, and I'm wreally starting to miss firefox here!

The firefox portable logo comes up, and then nothing more.

i got a theme from deviantart called Vista Black but it requires you to manualy install.... what would be the procedure for that?

I have problems downloading Firefox portable 2.0.0.2.
Always the md5- hash code check fails with the data supplied on your Website (https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_portable). Since I've downloaded the files mor than twice already, with the same result each time. I think your file on the downloadserver may be corrupted, or your hashcode is wrong.
