Firefox Portable

Using:
WinXP Pro with SP2
PortableApps Menu 1.5.2
Firefox 3.0.9

I've been using this combination for some time with no problems. A recent attempt to open Firefox returned the error message---nsis error: failed integrity test. Other apps opened and ran correctly.

I shut down and restarted the system and Firefox opened normally (I'm using it now).What happened? Is this likely to recur? I would expect an installer to be deleted after installation.---why is it still Present?

i'm using Firefox Portable on my workspace.
Sadly i don't have admin rights on my pc.
But: I'd like to use the VLC-Plugin für Firfox and the question is "How can i install and use this plugin with my firefox portable"? I cannot start any installer programs!

Can you help me?

I read the othe post about flash in firefox, but that procedure doesn't work for me on later firefox, give erros.

And when I click on "click here to download the plugin" on a website that needs flash, firefox always says "No suitable plugins were found".

So how do I install the latest Adobe Flashplayer 10 ActiveX in the latest portable firefox please?

I use Portable Firefox 3 with Dropbox to insure all the changes, I have made in one computer will be there in another. And I love this setup, as I do not always have to carry my Flash drive. However, I have noticed that the size of portable firefox is almost about 400 MB and increasing. When I check the folder data/profile, I found many Sqlite files, which constitute about 300 MB. Some of them are date-format ("cookies (IBM's conflicted copy 2009-04-13).sqlite").

I'm sure many will say it's not a big deal. Well, I did an auto-update to 3.09. I just don't like some weird registry issue lurking in the background.

How do I undo the "damage" done by the auto-update?

Hi everybody,

When I used FFP, very often "I get add certificate exception", nothing special about this, but all exceptions I did don't stay in firefox configuration.
Every time I go to these sites I have to redo the procedure for exception.

Do you know the reason why ? (I am machine administrator.

Now I would to deploy some certificates on several PC both, but I don't know where are stored .cer or .pem inside FFP data.

Could you help me ?
