Thunderbird Portable

after installing Thunderbird Portable i've set it to be the default email client for my OS and also use the MinimizeToTray addon i can see the incoming mails all the time in my tray... and normally when TB is minimized to tray and i hit and email address in Opera or IE the write new mail pop-up window shows up and the sender is my default user profile... so far so good...

It would be a bad idea to use GPG without at least some verification.

TBP is set to check for updates to itself and add-ons. Is that behavior desirable? Most portable apps should be updated manually. If that is also the case with TBP, I suggest setting those options off by default.

I want to save e-mails, sent from MS Outlook to Portable Thunderbird, to disk in the Outlook .msg file format

I know FireFoxPortable has issues with updating, but can you update TBP 2.0.0.17 to 2.0.0.18 using the autoupdate?

When using my current version of Thunderbird Portable, 2.0.0.17, a message popped up announcing update to 2.0.0.18. I didn't let it update manually since there are known bugs with updating a portable app, and not only that, but I had trouble when I let firefox portable update itself before I knew of the bugs.

I went to portableapps.com and checked for the new update for thunderbird, but it was not there. When will it be available?

I have note that when i Forward from t.vutha [-whirlpool-] of.forum [-spot-] org.kh to other domain like gmail.com, yahoo.com..ect it working using the Thunder Bird Portable.

But if i Forward to other mail which has the same domain @of.forum.org.kh . The receiptient don't received the email that i forwarded. I don't know where the email gone . I have tested in my whole organization .It not working .It working only if we Forward to other mail which have different domain .

Please help to resolve it as soon as possible .Thanks

I wish, for a future release to change the status line during mail check.

Rather than just saying 'Contacted host' I think it would be more meaningful if it said 'Contacted "server name"', especially with multiple accounts.

After upgrading Thunderbird portable on my USB stick the local settings in the registry of my vista notebook referring to Thunderbird are changed. They all point to the USB drive which is not there most of the time. This is rather strange because PortableApps should not change my local registry at all in my opinion!

The extension is still present, but the all GPG binaries are gone.
After reinstall of the plugin GPG is available again.
