I thing this mistake will be in all languages

How to delete Inboxes that TBP duplicated ?

Submitted by BajaNomad on May 7, 2018 - 11:11pm

Somehow my Inboxes got duplicated, luckily only one of each pair continue to fetch new mail. I have removed all the duplicate messages but I can't find a way to delete the empty Inboxes themselves ?
Also my "Trash" file is 2GB but properties says there are zero messages ... I read that if I delete the msf file it will regenerate, but what if I delete the "Trash" file itself...what would be the procedure here ?
Thx Peter

Looks like Thuderbird 60 will be released within May, 2018 but what about extensions compatibility? Source: https://www.ghacks.net/2018/04/24/thunderbird-60-and-extensions-support/
================
>> Would be nice to have a 'PortableApps - Thunderbird 60 Beta Portable version' available for download and test our 'add-ons' compatibility before the 'Thunderbird 60 stable' version will arrive.
Thanks in advance,
best.

installed 52.6, copied my old profile... it is not found

Submitted by marcelzx on March 6, 2018 - 6:57am

installed 52.6 (no profile.ini to be found) on W10
copied my old profile (38.6? W7) to ...Data\profile\sjj2skxb.default

when starting TB portable it sees NOTHING.

...always complicated with those kind of software!

My profile is were it is supposed to be. I can look inside the mail sb-folders and see all my mails...

So, what is next?

making Thunderbird portable the default email client

Submitted by emaharg on March 4, 2018 - 11:30am

i have deleted Thurnderbird from my drive C: and run it from a USB drive with a permanent drive letter (in my case, Q)
Since then, it no longer works as my default email client.

I have tried to reset default protocoll MailTo but I cannot see Thunderbird any longer as an available email client.
Any good ideas to try?

Email Lost.

I was switching PCs and one was "probably" not shut down properly.

When I plugged in my portable drive containing portable apps and clicking on Mozilla Thunderbird, Thunderbird wanted to create a new account as if the old one does not exist.

I can go directly to the ThunderbirdPortable/App/Thunderbird/Thurderbird.exe and get my email this way but not by bringing up the portable app and clicking on Mozilla Thunderbird. It wants to create a new account.

How do I fix this?
