Thunderbird Portable

I've had no problems with Microsoft accounts nearly all year and gmail accounts are fine, but Microsoft accounts keep asking for password. I've tried removing accounts and re-adding them, but still no resolution.
Please help!

I am using TB portable v 60.8.0. I do a lot of traveling and have TB on a USB stick. We have 5 people in the office and everyone has their own calendar using TB and I can see all 5 calendars on my machine. All off the calendars are google calendars.

I am using TB Portable (60.9.0) on a computer that runs Windows 10.
The main reason I use a portable version is that I don't have admin privileges to install any software on the machine.

I would like to set Thunderbird as default mail client (i.e. when clicking email links I would like to directly use Thunderbird for composing a new message).

Unfortunately all solutions that I found here and more in general online suggest to: (1) install a non-portable Thunderbird version, so that that can be set as default mail client; or (2) change the Windows registry.

I would be thankful if anyone could help me out and tell me how to disable the splash screen for the Thunderbird Portable 2nd Profile App.

Neither exists a corresponding ini-file in the directory "Other\Source" nor does using such a file in the conventional suggested way work.

i have set up two thunderbird profiles, one that’s used by me (profile 1) and the other one used by my girlfriend (profile 2).

I take care of all programs and keep them up to date in our household. Unfortunately, when I install addons, do improvements, adjustments or fixes to thunderbird for profile 1 I have to do the same (often fiddly and pesky) process for profile 2 so that both thunderbird profiles benefit from my changes and stay on the same level.

I set up a second TB profile using the PortableApps "2nd profile" version alongside my initial portable version and now would like to swap the profiles between the two so that I can eventually remove the 2nd Profile install entirely.

The main reason for setting up the 2nd profile was so I could convert my mailboxes to MailDir from MBox which was less appropriate for using TB via the cloud (OneDrive).

I know this isn't an AutoHotKey or Elgato StreamDeck support forum, but I'm having an issue with Portable Thunderbird specifically in regards to those apps & I thought I'd ask here in case someone had some insight...

Thunderbird 68, 32 & 64 bit now available at Mozilla. Doesn't work as an upgrade though although 68.1 will.
Don't have a clue what that has to do with portable conversion.

Thunderbird portable.Windows XP
Using POP3.
I travel between two locations.
I have a Windows 10 64bit desktop at each location.
I have Thunderbird Portable on a Thumb Drive.
At each location I just plug in the Thumb Drive and launch Thunderbird portable.
Has worked well.
I also update the local machine at each location with SyncToy by syncing the “Mail” folder.
Two days ago when I arrived at one of the locations, my Desktop died shortly after boot-up.
DEAD!!
