I am keen to create a 'toolkit' on USB Flash Drive to assist with PC boot problems, so I have built a bootable USB containing Windows RE (Vista/Win 7 version) and the PortableApps suite (together with a load of other stuff too). I have then copied the Windows boot sectors (Master Boot Record and Partition Boot Record) from the boot device (C: drive) to the USB drive using HDHacker.

All worked fine until I booted Windows RE from the USB Flash drive and launched PortableApps. HDHacker does not launch so I can't access the boot sector copies in this recovery environment.

Haven't found any discussion--is there a way to run multiple instances of Chrome like the Firefox hack?

Just wondering if others are getting false positives when trying to download DShutdown?

I use Vipre Corporate a s a firewall/spyware/AV and when trying t o download DShutdown it refuses to allow me to download. I am sure the program is ok and w ill be reporting it as a false positive but was wondering if others are having same issue?

The app says on start-up that there is another instance of the program running, but I haven't even run it from a fresh update. I've tried re-updating it, removing my portable HDD, and nothing. NADA. For the record, this didn't happen until ONE RUN after the update.
I'm running from Windows 7 X64, off a Seagate Portable HDD, 320 GB in size. Please help ASAP, please.

I can run Chrome 13 and 14 Portable installation only from Explorer, not from PApps Platform menu. There is no space in installation path and I've cleaned all registry with CCleaner. My OS is Win7.

Running uTorrent 3.0 build 25460. Had update errors from last menu update.
Not sure of previous version, but am fairly religious about updating when I have internet.

Thumbdrive switched from E: to G:
uTorrent still looking for E:\PortableApps\uTorrentPortable\Data\torrents.

Is this a uTorrent Portable issue? Or is the menu reporting the wrong drive?
Windows 7 x64. PortableApps menu displays correct drive letter.

Hi!

The default search engine set in Iron Portable is google.com. I changed this to google.de in the options menu. But it doesn't work. All my searches are still being processed by google.com.
Any ideas?

Did anybody get Iron Portable and KeePass working together using ChromeIPass?
I have KeePass 2.15, ChromeIPass 1.0.4 and Iron Portable 13.0.800.
I keep getting:

ChromeIPass has been configured using the keyname *** and has not yet connected to KeePassHttp

Any ideas are wellcome!

I just installed the latest release. How do I clean this up, please?
