AppCompactor documentation

Was about to complain about not being able to find where the documentation is for the AppCompactor.ini, but finally found it in the Format Spec. Just wondering if it would be a good idea to have a link from the AppCompactor page to that section of the spec?

Also, the links to the homepage in the AppCompactor help file are wrong, they currently point to
https://portableapps.com/AppCompactor
when they should be
https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/portableapps.com_appcompactor

FreeCiv 2.3.0 Won't Start

Submitted by VIC-20 on September 8, 2011 - 5:35pm

Just finished upgrading to FreeCiv Portable 2.3.0 (from FreeCiv 2.2.7) and now it won't start. The splash screen shows up as it normally does and then nothing. I've never encountered a problem with any of the previous versions of FreeCiv Portable and I'm running a fully up-to-date and patched version of Win XP Home SP3.

[Fixed] ToDoList Portable: incorrect use of variables in launcher INI (ToDoListPortable.ini)

Submitted by SilentException on September 8, 2011 - 11:28am

In ToDoListPortable.ini there are two FileWrite sections in which usage of %PAL:LastDrive% variable is incorrect: it lacks starting % character. It doesn't properly replace old drive with new in setting files.

DSynchronize crash - stopped working

DSynchronize won't synchronize since last update to that software.

I can't tell much about the causes but when I start synchronization it will just stop somewhere during phase one. Not during an action like deletion or creating new folders.

Anyone else have these problems ?

Is there any additional info that I can possibly provide to help solve the problem ?

Opera Portable: Won't run when it detects an Opera instance running (portable or non-portable)

Submitted by galacticninja on September 5, 2011 - 7:04am

How do I set Opera Portable to still run itself even if it detects that another Opera instance is already running? Opera Portable states that "Another instance of Opera, Portable Edition is already running..." if run with Opera (even with the regular, non-Portable edition).

In Firefox Portable, I can run Firefox Portable with a regular non-Portable version of Firefox by setting AllowMultipleInstances=true in FirefoxPortable.ini.
