Thanks for all the great work you do. Norton is rejecting the 64-bit version as being infected. The virus was referred to as "Suspicious.Cloud.9". The 32-bit version seems fine. Please advise.

Seems as of late I am constantly getting time outs when I run app. Not sure how long been doing so or if related to my recent upgrade to Win 8.1? anyone else having same issue? also seems none of the links on sourceforge fr it are working. I sit just em or has something canged?

I have updated gPodder portable to 3.7.0 but it is now asking me to install pyGTK. I have tried installing it but it still asks me to install it. Any suggestions?

I use disk cache and size parameters in GoogleChromePortable.ini's AdditionalParameters and set the cache to run locally but everytime I close Chrome portable it wipes out the cache from Temp folder despite of the settings RunLocally set to true and CacheInTemp false. The only way I could force this portable app to read the parameters I use is to create a batch file with those parameters and run it.

I have several times from several computers and locations to no avail at downloading and reinstalling chrome portable. Every time the error I get is "The downloaded copy of Google chrome portable (http://cache.pack.google.com/edgedl/chrome/win/35C31100BE28D70D/35.0.191...) is not valid and can not be installed. this could be due to an incomplete download or other network issue. Please try running the updater again when complete."

Google Chrome Portable Dev 37.0.2062.3 leaves this registry key behind after first run:

HKCU\Software\Google\Chrome\BLFinchList

When I run Opera Portable for first time, UI shows in English.
If I change "User Interface language" to Spanish ("es-ES" or "es-LA"), setting is lost after restarting the browser, and UI shows in English again.
Same issue with "preferred language for Opera and webpages" setting.
Both settings are always lost after restarting Opera Portable.
All other settings are preserved.
Tested on Spanish versions of Win XP and Win 7.

When FeedNotifier Portable is used and running when the PC is ShutDown, at next use the following error-box is given :

Feed Notifier Portable (PortableApps.com Launcher)
Feed Notifier Portable did not close properly last time it was run and will now clean up. Please then start Feed Notifier Portable again manually.

I've been using the regular FeedNotifier for years and never had similar problems.

The same applies to Virtual Magnifying Glass Portable :

this will be a complaint:
Virtualdub can not seriously deal with pictures, as they all need to have the same size, the rendering-engine is too weak to to convert photos on a fly. (I would have used WindowsMovieMaker, the work is a charm - in former times, but now it is part of the unwanted LIVE-essentials)
It would not be a problem, if there where a tool, but my complaint is, that there is no serious work-around for that, no plug-in, none of the photo-editors is able to convert to lets say HD-size and add the borders , no tool doing that in batch-mode etc ...

Is there a way to do this?
