Before application starts there is a crash.
But, the app continues to launch, have not tried downloading anything yet, though.

Foxit Reader leaves the following registry key after a run if dictionary/spell-check function is used.

Also it leaves a folder

Hi guys,

Since the last update of OpenTTD 1.4.1, the portable version don't launch, at all. No error message, no dump file. Process is alive for half a second before shutdown.

I tried to erase the app folder, download a new, clean install, but same result.

And, it's about this specific version : I still have a backup of my portable 1.4.0 version, it runs like a charm.

But, the 1.4.2 version being in RC-1 on openttd.org, I don't really hope a fix from devs, indeed. Or, maybe someone who already had this problem, and got a quick fix.

I tried to use portable skype at work but relized that the file skype.exe depsapears from the folder E:\Skype\SkypePortable\App\Skype.
even when I copy/paste that file from my personnal computer to this folder, it desapears after running SkypePortable.exe,
any suggestion?
ps: I installed portable skype in a usb drive not in my work computer,

Hasn't worked in awhile for me. Every install gives me the following:

Matches the provided fed6022e7e5c1a71de5c0d801a4b18a0 on the utorrent page. I uninstalled my old uTorrent portable, but the install issue still remains.

sorry i posted a similar entry at another (wrong) place initially, will see if i can erase it there.

question: DITTO has had several minor revisions and updates, plus one major one, since the version that is still distributed here (aug 2013) - as far as i know they are now on 3.19.xx. with some real improvements.

is there any reason why the portable version gets no regular update?

to me and many of my friends, this is one of the top-ten utilities there is, out there. to those who havent tried, do so. a real time-saver.

How do you add plugins into Opera portable? Do you have to put the dll file into a "plugins" folder? Please help!

Today I tried to install Skype Portable without active internet connection, which seems not to work.
I used the same technique like with other Portableapps online installers by placing the corresponding Skype installer (.msi-File) in the same directory like the .paf.exe, but it seems that the portable installer does not recognize the file and tries to download it again, which of course fails (SendRequest error).
I already checked the installer file, but name, size and checksum seem to be correct.

Google Chrome Portable 38.0.2096.0 Dev leaves these folders behind:
"AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\SwiftShader"
All empty. Now CCleaner detects Chrome, deleting them fixed it.

If Java is installed on my desktop, I can proceed with a program requiring Java which starts with an .exe file, not a .jar.

With portable Java, how to proceed?
