U3 Firefox Problems

Submitted by dford3772 on January 15, 2006 - 5:48pm

Can't get program running without being able to connect to Mozilla Addons. I keep getting error
message that SSL is disabled. 2.0 and 3.0 are checked and should be working. What can I do?

The import function does not work. When it finishes
and I try to run it the box is empty. How can I fix it?

Installing Flash in U3 version of portable firefox

Submitted by Anonymous (not verified) on January 5, 2006 - 9:43pm

I've installed portable firefox from the U3 site. I read the instructions regarding plugins. I was able to install Shockwave but not Flash because the Flash installer does not give you the option of specifying where to install it. There was no UI and it installed directly to the hard drive on my regular computer.

Any suggestions about how to install?

Concept of U3

I bought a Kingston DataTraveler 1GB with U3 support and I really like the concept. However, there are still only a few software programs that support U3.

I have a bit of experience with beta testing and I am willing to offer my services in this respect and to assist with any other non-programing functions to help bring new open source products up to speed on the U3 platform.
