Smart menu, not so smart

Not sure if this is the right forum for this but it does seem to be the closest match. Please move if it's not.

I have a *lot* of apps on my portable hard drive with portableapps. Many of them are not actual "portable" apps. But I use them anyway as I need some means of carrying around diagnostic software to places that might not have internet access. (I'm a computer tech)

Discussion: Customizable Close/Eject/Minimize buttons.

I've been thinking that our current arrangement of a close and an eject button isn't exactly ideal. Eject won't work for local installs. And some people are looking for a minimize button. So I was thinking that what if we set up the two buttons in the lower right to be customizable between a close, eject and a minimize and let users select how they work. I think setting them as Minimize and Eject by default for removable drives and Minimize and Close by default for running from C:\ would make sense as well.

Portable Apps USB drive

Someone mentioned in a forum about OSCON that John could be recognized by the USB drive hanging from his neck. This got me thinking, would it be worth selling specific PA USB drives with the logo on it and the menu pre-installed? It could help raise money for further PA development, fans get something tangible and it makes for good promotional material.
After I graduate, I will definitely buy one of these if available, and show off like a nerdy peacock prancing around with his feathers.

Quick Request

Firstly congrats to the dev net here at pa.com

Hereby I request "Categories" or Folders for apps in the PortableApps Directory for the future burgeoning market so there is no reader fatigue, eg "FireFox" directory related to nightlies, releases and betas.

Cheers
