I'm looking for a small-as-possible lightweight Gecko-based browser with tabbed browsing support. (Ability to install the Adblock extension for Firefox would be nice... even if I have to copy JAR files around.)
Any ideas?

I have been trying for some time to make Spy Sweeper portable. I use it daily, but keep having to install the app on computers to run it. I have found all the registry entries that it uses, and all the files that are installed. I am also able to create and start the 2 services that are installed, but I still can't get it to work correctly. I was hoping someone else was working on this idea also.

First of all, I want to thank everyone who contributes to this 'project', including the original software developpers. I found out about portableapps.com yesterday and I'm already hooked!
Well, I have a few suggestions, for apps that would be awesome if they were portable:
Multimedia:
-Media Player Classic ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/guliverkli/ )
-VirtualDub ( http://www.virtualdub.org )
-µTorrent (not open source, but free, and damn it's light! http://www.utorrent.com )
Games:
-Zsnes ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/zsnes )
-Nestopia ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/nestopia )
I keep hearing about Elicpse as a great editor but it seems such a pain to start using that a portable version with support for the .Net languages would make a good replacement to Visual Studio for the developer on the go. Easy support for adding languages would be good and would eliminated the need to include the languages so long as there was a repository of easy portable language plugins.
Seems we're heading for a full-fledged OS like DamnSmallLinux! Has any thought been given to creating a fully password-protected, encrypted portable unit - a FOSS version of StealthSurfer?
Gnumeric is the Spreadsheet Companion to Abiword and has recently been ported to win32. The download information page is below.
From my point of view it would be great to have a portable firewall. One that can effortless be configured. For example Agnitum Outpost Firewall Free. Than you can do what you like in a secure way.
Is there any support for this???
I would love to see CCleaner (aka Crap Cleaner) made portable.
