How do I uninstall the suite from my flash drive?
Hi,
I have a remote hard drive I access via https (WebDAV). I would like to install portable apps on my remote hard drive. However, when I run the installer, although I'm able to select the drive from the browse window, the Install button is never highlighted (clickable).
Also, I'd map the drive to a letter (as a work-around) but XP doesn't support this, especially when using SSL.
Any thoughts or ideas?
Thanks in advance.

I use PA Suite for 1.5 years already. But only today I noticed the ejection button on the main page and /suite screenshots. I read carefully through the forum and all FAQs , but still couldn't figure out the reason why I don't see that button with any of my pen drives. Please give some kind of explanation ))))))))
I'm not sure if you already have a working solution, but if not, I found an app called USB Disk Ejector. I'm not sure of the quality of the source code for it, but it was written in Delphi, so should be fairly easy to integrate this code into the Menu.
I read that the application currently only works in XP and Vista, but with the team of developers we now have for the menu, it shouldn't be too difficult to adapt to work with other Windows versions as well.
Hi I was wandering if you could give me a hand. I installed DiskHero on PortibleApps but its made lots of icons in the launch menu is there away to reduce this to just one. I would also like to install ThreatFire on PortibleApps as its one of the best heuristics based antivirus programs available. But I can’t get it to work with is it possible. Finally I would like to have these two programs auto start with PortibleApps is this possible?
I really do appreciate the PortableApps program and use it all the time. But, it has been a long time since the Suite has been upgraded. It is still version 1.0. Thus, I just download the base program and then all of the individual updated programs that I want every time I install it on a new flash drive. Mind you, I don't want to sound like I'm whining about a program so useful, well-designed, and dare I say it, FREE. I REALLY appreciate the work that went into creating this marvelous & useful program.
Hello, I did a little search here and couldn't find what I am looking for, so here it is.
I got this Firebird language extension installed. But in order to activate it, I gotta use a shortcut using the -UILocale thing at the end, and it works perfectly.
But now there it is, from the PApps menu I can't open the shortcut, even if I rename it to the same name as the usual .exe file...if there was only a way to change the path to my shortcut, it would be perfect.
Thanks in advance
i hope this is the right section to post this in, i wanted to ask why the portable apps suite requires you to install the exe instead of just adding an exe to the list. i also would like to know where the confinguration file i hear about is. all i see in options drop down box is install or remove app.
Hi, I just installed PortableApps, and it is great, but the above menu items don't seem to do anything. Does anybody know why that is?
Getting so many apps running portable (on USB) I'd had to stop using the menu and just browse the folder structure to run them.
I'd love to see the features in the new version... any ETA?
