Someone can help me.
I am proving(trying) the menu of portable apps from a CD; but in order that the unit of CD - rom not from mistake I need to expel the program and windows there shows me the following mistake >>Unable to write to CD - rom "PortableAppsMenu.ini"
Two things:
1 - a run command like is there on the normal window start menu.
2 - ability to run without the tray icon, just a standard minimize to the toolbar. If there is an option to run without the tray icon then the menu could be used as the start menu in a windows PE environment ot run tools from a bootable cd\ufd. Great uses for diagnosis and repair of systems and you could still use it the portable apps from within the existing OS.
I'm sure some of know PStart (http://www.pegtop.net/start/) a number of us here moved up from there to a more integrated platform at PortableApps.
My problem is now - John and the other contributors have made such progress in creating .paf.exe bundles and some good quality beta versions I now have a good 50 or so apps
What I'd like to do (I can't seem to find any docs to see if my current version 1.1B4 supports it) is .....
I'd like to be able to sub-folder the menu as the old PStart could
I have a app on my drive that shows 3 icons on the menu, is there a way, maybe in a future release do be able to hide icons in the menu?
I have installed some apps on my thumbdrive that aren’t the nicely made paf files so some of them have additional .exe files. The problem is these additional .exe files are needed by the main program but just clutter up the menu. Is there a way I can remove/exclude these superfluous .exe files? Any help would be thoroughly appreciated!
Cheers

Is there a way to have a countdown timer telling you how much time there is till the backup complete. I'd actually like to see this in the next release if possible.
i am not exactly sure were to put this thread since the request forum is mainly for new apps and this thread is for an existing app
I found the PortableApps Menu to be very slow on my laptop at work so I use the PStart.exe instead, but I can't open an Explore window as in PortableApps Menu. Is there anyone that knows how to be able to add the same functionality to PStart?
TIA
Dear all,
I have installed some application and made some configurations to them separately.
Then I decide to integrate them all into portable apps menu, so it will be more easy to me to access them.
Does anybody know how to integrate them into portable apps menu manually? I don't want to install a new one, but I want to use my already installed apps, because I don't want to lose the add-ons I have already installed and I don't want to do setting to these application again.
Thanks for your help,
Regards,
Ronny
