PortableApps.com Platform

Hi everyone,
I want to be able to force portable apps to go through VPN.

I am using PIA which allows split tunneling (i.e. force only some some apps to use VPN) and it generally works fine except for the case of portable apps. For example, I am setting "FirefoxPortable.exe" to go through PIA, but it does not work, it uses my actual IP.

Any ideas what I should do are welcome.

The OS is Windows 11 24H2.

I'm just curious.

With no portable apps running. there is still cpu usage when it is in idle.
It seems to be polling for something.

What's the .exe is doing? What causes it?
Is it by design? Why?

Is there any way to reduce it to none?

Platform updated today, and I got the prompt to donate. Tried to, using Paypal, but was redirected on a Paypal page

is there any way to uninstall multiple apps at once?
I have many apps i want to get rid of cause they are discontinued and in the years im using porableapps i got so many apps i dont need anymore.

Help Screen is displaying 30.0.2 after upgrading to 30.0.3.

Also, doesn't throw up the "What's New" screen when first launching after upgrade.

I guess it come from some network parameters
suggestion:
Add options about network error-controling such as ’timeout‘ ，’number of retry‘ ，’pause between connection‘ and so on

I would like to see the Platform's windows/context menus and portableapps.com updater in dark mode. Night windows are too bright on Windows in dark mode.

Anyone know if is there a way to increase the number of visible apps in the main menu of PortableApps?

I don't remember why, but when I started using Portable Apps, I used to download zips individually, and unzip the zip files in a folder/directory structure/hierarchy I created. That is, I used them without using the PortableAppsPlatform.

Nowadays I quite like this folder/directory structure/hierarchy.

But it's a headache updating these apps. Gotta download the zip, then aim the unzip correctly etc.

PortableApps\Q-DirPortable\App\Q-Dir\Q-Dir_x64.exe is blocked by windows defender and moved to quarantine

because it is reported as

Trojan:Win32/Wacatac.H!ml

This program is dangerous and executes commands from an attacker.

Newest version of defender running under Win 11 Pro..

False/positiv?
