I run portable on several different sticks for several different reasons, depends on whether I am a network tech, hardware/software tech, or just general office drudge. I would like to put a header on the menu page so that I can tell which stick I have loaded without unloading and looking at the label on the underside of the stick.

How can I do this?

I accidentally delete the autorun.inf nested inside my "Documents" folder.

So I am left with a boring looking folder icon. I missed the old PortableApps custom icon.

Can someone provide me the contents of the .inf file for the PA custom Documents folder icon?

I want the original one to stay true to PA.

I'd like to install the Platform to make updating easier, but I've already got many portable apps that I installed manually (as standalone apps) without the platform. Is there any way to bring them into the platform without a lot of difficulties?

As i understand a "short cut" to HELP
of a program was added.
But this is not enough since my main problem
is to find a program by its help or use.
General calcification is not enough.

What i did i wrote a Delphi program that shows ALL help
so i can choose a program by knowing what it dose !!!

I miss that kind of help in your software.

Hello, We use with success your "PortableApps" to allow our "Beta testers team" to "Install" (...dev.paf.exe) or "Extract" (...dev.paf.exe.7z) our Beta Open Source Apps at: "GitHub.com/Notepad3".

The problem is that every time we try to extract the "7z file", we get an annoying dialog box dialog box indicating an identical double file "modern-header.bmp" in "$PLUGINSDIR"

PortableApps 16.0.1 running on non internet connected machine, connecting to a squid server on a machine with internet access, that connects to a parent squid server over a ssh tunel on another machine with internet access.

Updater gets list of needed updated fine, then fails to download anything.

How to make sure that the settings of a portable app are maintained after a reboot?

I'll try and keep this short and concise. My portabe apps menu is only half the length it should be. Each time I start it it appears the same. The only way I can workaround it is to go to options>theme> click any theme and then the menu appears the correct length. This is only temporary and next time I start PA platform the issue persists.

The 'Keep menu visible after starting apps' setting is not saved after the platform restart.
