Hi all, how do I add an app to portableapps when the .exe is in a subdirectory? It isn't detecting it...

I’m having a problem where every time I exit the settings, a Windows Explorer window pops up. This window is blank and I have to right click on it and X it out to get it to close . The window that pops up is just a blank white window or folder. Does anybody know what’s causing this?

Yes the program in question is the PortableApps Launcher - Taking up to 5 minutes or longer to finish loading - installed on Local Hard Drive

If anyone has an idea on how to speed things up please let me know, it takes up to 5 minutes or longer, I've known this to be similar with some other Open Source Programs.

we need to use portable FF to access our older Bizerba Equipment. (Scales, production lines). According to our central IT portable FF will not work with windows 10. Can we use it with Windows Server 2012? Does anyone has the same issues with windows10?

For the study, I am trying to make the program Process Monitor portable. (For information, its installation cannot be downloaded from the PA site, there is an error.)
I save the registry settings. My lancher:
[Launch]
ProgramExecutable=ProcessMonitor\Procmon.exe

I have only noticed with Keepass, could be others? Running Keepass 2.34. Platform 16.0. Auto updater says 'all apps up to date' even though Keepass 2.41 is available on site.

I have a little problem passing command line parameters with special characters to the PortableApp launcher.

More specific, I would like to open a search URL in Chrome or Firefox and pass a certain search term. It works if I pass the arguments to the applications directly, but when I pass them to the GoogleChromePortable.exe then the special characters will be replaced with question marks.

Example:
chrome.exe https://www.google.com/search?q=Привет

Hi there,
since a few weeks I cannot use the platform Help/Check for Updates anymore.
Even if I reinstall everything from scratch I can download portable apps, but the update function still doesn't work.

Is there a log file which knows a bit more about what fails and where?

I have Windows 10, a DSL connection without any proxy, in internet connection settings every proxy option is unchecked.

How can I proceed to fix this?

I pinned some apps on the taskbar and it creates new icons just right side of the icon every time I launch it. How do I fix it?
