Toucan

I have just started to use the Toucan Sync function.

I am using an "update" from my USB to my "MyDocs"

I had assumed that this was working OK however, I just tried to run OO from "MyDocs" (the USB versions works OK).

Is there a way through the app to delete saved sync jobs?

I have found the jobs.ini file in Toucan\Data directory.
Editing this does the job but I was just wondering if i was missing the obvious?

One more desire: when synchronizing/backuping etc., there is a resizable window informing about process of copying files. When I resize it, the internal control (edit-box? list-box? rich-edit?) stays unchanged. So when copying a file whose path is too long, it's necessary to scroll.

Would it be able to make the internal control resizable and to save/restore its size between application sessions?

When do you suppose a new Toucan's version will be released?

Is there a way to automatically name a backup file with the current date? I looked in both the help files and the forums, and didn't find anything. I seem to remember that this was possible in an earlier version of the program.

I like the fact that Toucan can encrypt and decrypt files without admin privileges. The only thing I don't like is that when you encrypt a folder, you can still access the folder and see what files are in that folder even though you are not able to open them. I think there should be a way to lock the folder so that it cannot even be opened.

I had encrypted a folder on my usb drive using Toucan 1.1 which contained thousands of images. But now i have forgot the password and i am not able to decrypt the same.

Pls help or advise a workaround as i its a genuine request and those files are important to me.

When I'm backing up my files using toucan in 7zip mode, the window become not responding, I waited for a while and the computer hang..

After that I use portableapps backup feature in 7zip mode also, no problem encountered and the backup was faster..

I always get this error when I want to decrypt file

and it has bug, i tried to decrypt a file which has not been encrypted, the file become unreadable.. after that I encrypt the file again but the file won'r come back.. so I suggest you must check if the file has already been encrypted or not..

I just start using Toucan. Very impressive w/ the software thus far. I'm running into this scenario and I'm not sure if it's a bug or it's the way Toucan work.
