LibreOffice Portable

Hi,
I'm a professor at the University. I use Libreoffice for my lectures. Most classrooms don't support Libreoffice so I bring my usb with portable Libreoffice installed.

The problem now is with the remote controller to move slides back and forward. This is another usb dongle, and it is recognized by the computer, but libreoffice Impress does not react to it. It is a bit frustrating as I have to be using the keyboard all the time instead of walking the classroom.

Has anyone experienced this before? Anyone knows a work around?

i have update from 5.4 to 6.0
my language is French, but some parts of libreoffice are now in english.
the main menu is in french, but all the sub dialogs are in english (format/page, outils/options, etc)
the left main bar is also in english : open file recent files templates, writer document calc spreadsheet, etc

is it a bug , or perhaps a new parameter to set for having all in french ?

Neither the main section nor the individual components come up when clicked on from my PA.com platform menu.

Can you possibly do a custom language install version.Most do not use anything other than English presumably....can you give an English language only version?

I would like to ask if is possible to get somewhere Portable LibreOffice 5.0.x. I know it is older version, but in a last LibreOffice is this bug. According to comment 16 this bug shouldn't be present in LibreOffice 5.0.x.

Is there any way to integrate the special LibreOffice Language Tool https://languagetool.org/ into the portable LibreOffice?

I installed the latest version of LO and found this option was missing. I even installed the suite again only to double check I haven't missed the option during setup. It's not there.

The extra language removal option didn't work perfectly (it would always leave 5 dictionaries intact instead of just 2), but still it did some job. Now I have to remove the dictionaries folders manually and I guess lots of language stuff still exist in other parts of the suite (like UI, for example).

What happened?

I have recently upgraded LibreOffice to the latest version using the PortableApps.com platform.

Unfortunately, I am unable to launch any of the LiibreOffice programmes. When I click on one of the programmes the LibreOffice banner will load and start to go through the process then disappears and nothing happens.

I am using Windows XP.

(Previous LO version had been installed badly ... on USB-stick; and was not used so far.)
Newly announced LO 5.4.1 portable on PortableApps noticed this when update process was started and recommended new full download of LibreOfficePortable_5.4.1_MultilingualStandard.paf.exe.
This was done twice with the same failure when installing.
A second download of the package (identical file) also ended with the same failure, i.e.
aborting the installation with: Could not save the file "Radial05-Sphere-Blue.svg".
Stick-medium should be ok. ...
