Portableapps web site says 15.x supports Windows XP - it doesn't. According to the Teamviewer web site, the last version supporting WIndows XP is 14.2 (due to the change in the encryption used). You can use a Teamviewer 15.x to connect/control to Teamviewer 14.x. Teamviewer 15.x won't even start on my neighbor's XP machine. You can NOT connect/control Teamviewer 15.x from Teamviewer 14.x

My Kaspersky Total Security automatically deletes the CPU-Z Portable Installer, it says it's malware. I can't even upload it to virustotal.com, the download url is useless, nd I can't get the download url. I have been in communication with the support at Kaspersky, the original CPU-Z installer and zip package (the one does not need install) does not trigger such a response from my security software, so I assume it must be the portable apps installer part.
I'm trying to make a a portable version for bancika's DIYLC drawing package relying on a Java runtime available.
I can get it working using the jPortable package and the existence of the commonfiles\java folder.
But the recent licensing issues around Oracle I feel the need to make the switch to the OpenJDKJRE variants.
If you're running Folding @home v7.5.1 and are upset with protein viewer working on demo mode, you're not alone. It's a bug in the viewer and it will be fixed only on next release.
And man! Actual protein is far more beautiful than demo version!!!

I reported the "false positive" to the Vipre people and gave them the download link to obtain it directly.
Vipre is reporting "Trojan.GenericKD.33560416" <<-- Vipre considers that a malware indication.
Usually Portable Apps stuff does not trigger any AV warnings for me.
I just downloaded SpeedyFox 2.0.28.
It didn't find Firefox, Thunderbird, Chrome. But they are on E:
When I tried to create a custom profile by choosing a portable app's home folder, it could find nothing.
I have the apps installed without the portable apps manager.
