Utility Apps Support

Hi

PA Check for updates shows all portable apps are up to date.

But my version is still v5.12.1.473
and supposedly v5.12.3.475 has been released?

Can you check please, else how can I force an update?

I wasn't sure where to ask. Please redirect me if there is a better place.

I will be creating a new site, which will START with the one page form that securely stores signup information about subscribers to a newsletter, and then potentially emails encrypted information offsite, leaving no trace of the subscriber's information online in any shape or form.

I downloaded 7zip on nov 2, filename: 7-ZipPortable_19.00_Rev_2.paf.exe.
This morning Malwarebytes for the first time detected a trojan: Trojan.SmokeLoader.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I don't know if there's something wrong with my computer. But I saw nothing happened when I executed DSynchronizePortable.EXE after running the installer DSynchronizePortable_2.48.1.paf.exe.

When trying to use PAP to download Ditto, the following error is currently issued: "The Downloaded File is Not Valid".

Question about WinMerge Portable.

If I start it by going to PA.c > PortableApps > WinMergePortable and double-clicking WinMergePortable.exe, I can drag files or folders onto the WinMerge window and it opens the folder selection window. Also, if I have that window open, I can drag files or folders onto it to change the first, second, or third file/folder selections.

I download and am setting up the Ditto clipboard manager. The setup menu has an option to "Start Ditto on System Startup". If I checked that option, wouldn't Ditto load during Windows startup? How would that remain a portable app so that, if needs be, I can delete the program by just deleting the program's folder? Thanks.

Any chance Nexusfile can be made into a portable app? It is a free app but I don't know if it's open source.

The excellent WinMerge2011 project had its upstream repository removed from BitBucket because BitBucket removed all mercurial projects.

The links on this website no longer point to a valid repo.

Does anyone know the new location of the WinMerge2011 project?
