First post here. Awesome site, awesome apps. Only one problem, so far.
I have been trying for quite some time, but I cannot get my away message to work. I have tried setting the auto-away to both "when away" and "when both away and idle". I have been using a saved status, title: "I'm not here", status: "away", message:"call if it's important... "

Pidgin: Virus warning?

Submitted by jvd897 on March 31, 2007 - 8:00pm

Hi, I'm trying to download Gaim Portable, but upon run of the setup executable, Command Antivirus intervenes and calls it a virus, specifically "W32/Downloader2.TZ". I suppose I could just disable the antivirus: but before I do that, I want to make absolutely sure that no one else's antivirus program is detecting this, and that my scenario is that of a false positive. Thanks!

Submitted by obenhodc on March 25, 2007 - 1:27pm

i'm having trouble getting PuTTYPortable to work with different settings in the ini file. all that i have changed is the PuTTYExecutable line, and i also changed the name of putty.exe to puttyTest.exe.

[PuTTYPortable]
PuTTYDirectory=App\putty
SettingsDirectory=Data\settings
PuTTYExecutable=puttyTest.exe
AdditionalParameters=
DisableSplashScreen=false

is there something else i'm doing wrong?

FileZilla: My comments

Submitted by dirhtml on March 23, 2007 - 6:51pm

These may relate to Filezilla itself, not the portable version...

The comments:
* It's not immediately obvious how to add a folder to the local site drop-down list, or how the list is maintained. Maybe there should be an "Add this folder" button or something of the like.
* Pressing "Insert" while an ftp:// folder tree is active should bring up a create folder dialog box

That's it!
