Firefox Portable

i wana to ask if there is any way to make tabs dont reload at firefox start, or making just one reload.

i wana ask to if there is any way to dont start playing a youtube video whene i open it in a new tab, and i still in other page.

My portable Firefox crashed. I had installed 2.0.0.6 and updated to 2.0.0.8. Last night, something caused Firefox to crash and quit. It was very late so I'm having a hard time remembering what exactly I'd been doing... maybe updating add-ons, I'm not sure.

I have been using portable firefox 2.0.0.8 from a network share. I cannot run any java applets on the pages (They work fine in IE. a pity).

Could this be a problem that different computers on the network have different versions of java installed at different locations and firefox just cant find java. if it is so, is there any way to fix it.

Or any other reasons you can think of.

No chrome package registered for chrome://duplicates/skin/duplicates-icon.png.

does firefox portable write to registry? i assume all programs need the registry to operate?

how can you use a profile folder in a different location than the default?
the -profilemanager argument wont work on this portable firefox.

So i'm using the latest portable of firefox and im encuntering a couple of issues.
First and foremost i cane make use of the mouse middle button to open and close tabs,which seriously incovenient.

And secondly i want to restore settings of my previous installation(before i formatted my PC), that i backed up using MozBackup but it says that no Firefox app was found.

Could you plz shed some light?

I have put the following files into the plugins folder:
* NPSWF32.dll
* flashplayer.xpt

But when I go to youtube it says I need to install shockwave player… Where can I get the proper .dll files from?

I have the IE tab Add-on I have recently started using a diferent computer on a different network. The firefox will not load the page unless i switch the rendering engine the meebo add-on will not load at all and the forcastfox will not load. anybody know why.

My Firefox Portable has auto-updated itself to 2.0.0.8, so I don't need the complete installer. But I do like the new features in the launcher and would want to be able to use those without having to download a 6MB file unnecessarily.

Is this something that's possible? Or does the licensing forbid John from distributing just the launcher?
