Firefox Portable

Hello everyone,

I have some Problems installing the Shockwave Plugin for Mozilla Firefox Portable on my pendrive.

I have read the instructions on your Page:

But the Problem is that the Shockwave installation routine doesnt let me direct the installation. It just installs Shockwave to the harddrive so i cant direct it to the pendrive.

I've been using Firefox Portable for a while now and have not experienced any kind of error until yesterday.
since i Updated My Portable Firefox to the latest Version (27.0.1), when i click on Firefox Logo to RUN it, Showing This Error >

After downloaded the Firefox 27.01 version I checked it for virus.

Is it just me or has anyone else noticed in FF27 the jumplistcache in the profile folder does not empty when
firefox is closed even when set to clear everything on exit.
I also have FF24 and no problem there.

I have problems with updating at least one PortableApp, i.e. Firefox. Firefox 26 is the current version, but my Portable Firefox is still in version 24 and the PortableApps Suite (11.2) doesn't find an update. Nevertheless other apps are updated.
Firefox is listed in the PortableApps menu, but not in "Help->About->Applications". Therefore is think it is not correct registered in the suite, perhaps because I moved an older single-installation (without suite) into the later installed suite-folder PortableApps\PortableApps.
How can I register it, so that updates will be found in installed.

I have been running firefox portable on Ubuntu 12.04.4 LTS \n \l and past version 23 (this includes esr 24 version) it does not work with wine. I have used both the system wine (i believe 1.4) and play on linux versions (1.5 - 1.7.11). Firefox launches either into an immediate crash or sometimes you get to click on it and then it crashes. Because firefox 23 and earlier seem to work fine but none after that I assume it is a firefox issue rather than wine. Because of the nature of portable apps it effects this windows version more than most.

I understand crash reporting was disabled in April, because it could not be made properly portable. But, as one of the users who uses portable apps flat on a PC, I'd like to be able to re-enable the crash reporting. The directories are still being created/updated with today's date, but there's no crash report in them. I've looked around, but other than the note that crash reporting is disabled by default now, there's no indication on how to re-enable it (and the .ini has enabled=1).

Would it be possible to get some documentation on how to re-enable the crash reporting?

Hi, i have with some facebook games... if i try to play that game it do not load the game.. for example:

I want to hide or lock the firefox Data folder in portable version and that way no one can't open or edit the data there like cookies.

Any one can give me an idea about how to do it as I'm going to using portable version so the solution must be OK with Portable version of firefox
