Firefox Portable

I have the JRE on the same thumb drive as firefox portable. I was wondering if there is a way to tell firefox to look in a specific place for the jre rather than the default one.

I wanted to be able to use Portable FireFox to launch uTorrent, Foxit Reader, and other such portable apps from my drive. First I found this:

but I didn't want to put a copy of every portable app in the firefox directory so I tried a few things and came up with this
assuming:
PortableApps
-\FirefoxPortable
--\App
---\firefox
----firefox.exe
-\Foxit Reader
--foxitreader.exe

1. Open PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox directory
2. create a text file named PDF.cmd
3. edit the file to contain
start "..\Foxit Reader\FoxitReader.exe" %1

I've experienced this a few times. I think at time Firefox doesn't shutdown properly. SO when I restart it, all my extension settings are lost. Does anybody know more about this or ways to counter act it?

The only way I can think is to make regular copies of my firefox portable! I can't live without it!!!!

Flash works fine for me. Youtube videos work. No, my problem deals with online flash games. It seem the Flash doesn't work for Flash games. So, I'm thinking that I need shockwave. If so, how would I go to get it installed? Thanks.

I am using Portable Firefox to browse the internet. I have an AOL mail ID (aksharatg@aol.com). I am able to login to my account without any problems. But when I click on Logout button the application (Firefox) crashes. But other mails and web pages are working fine.
I am using
Portable Firefox version 2.0.0.3
Operating System: Windows XP Professional SP2

I have been a portable firefox user for quite some time now, and Ive experienced this for the third time now.

I use both Windows XP and Mac computers and a USB drive.

I want to be able to use the same bookmarks for both computers. How do I share my bookmarks so that I don't have to have two sets of Firefox bookmarks.

Windows was being Windows again and wouldn't unmount my USB, so I had to just pull it out when I was in a hurry. Now I have two corrupted files that cause a looping error message whenever I start up Firefox and whenever I exit. I've tried reinstalling the application, but with no avail. Does anyone have a suggestion?

I have downloaded and installed the flash extension and it works fine on other flash sites but youtube fails to recognize it. Oddly enough it runs the video on the front page okay (the one at the top right) but when i try to view any other video it claims flash is not installed (it is, i've checked and double checked). Anyone had similar problems and knows how to fix it?

please help. When I play videos on stage6 it says file cannot be downloaded and when I exit the tab, a popup appears saying that Divx Web Player had an Illegal Operation and then firefox just goes crazy.

The plugin works fine in Ie7 and standard firefox. Is it a problem in Firefox portable or is it just me?

help pls. Its really annoying that I have to use another browser to view videos
