Start Portable Firefox in fullscreen mode?
Hi, I'd like to use Portable Firefox to run a fullscreen presentation from my usbkey.
So as to minimize user interaction, I'd like firefox to start in fullscreen mode.
Is there a way to do this?

When I installed all of Firefox's extensions, the drive letter of my thumb drive was E:. Now that I'm on a different machine and the drive letter is F:, all of my extensions don't run. They're still in the PortableFirefox\profile\extensions directory; it's just as though Firefox isn't reading the drive letter correctly. Is this a known problem, and what can I do to fix it?
I seem to have one of those slow flash drives [4 BG Sandisk Cruiser Mini] so FireFox is really slow. I'm trying some of the tweaks mentioned in this forum (rebuild/reduce extensions/etc.) but I'm wondering if i can handle this in a different way:
Can I install only a profile on my flash drive so when I plug it into a PC with Firefox already on it I'm good to go, using the program on the PC and the profile on the flash drive?
If I can do this, and someone advises me how, then I'll just use my flash drive profile at the office and keep the program on the flash drive for "emergency uses when I'm at a PC without FireFox.
Has anyone successfully installed the quicktime plug-in for portable FireFox and if so how do you achieve this as the plugin manager says that it has to be a manual install which directs me to download the iTunes setup file ?
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
Hello and a happy new year,
it would be great if there would be an option for Portable Firefox to automatically apply the Internet Explorer connection settings when starting Portable Firefox on a new computer.
At home I have a direct internet connection, at work I have to use a proxy configuration url.
Keep up the good work,
René
Hi,
First, I wish all of you (and your family) the best for 2006.
Since a few days, the standard search (next to the address bar in Portable Firefox) is no longer working.
I can type a query, I can press "Return" on the keyboard, but nothing happens.
The icon of the search (by default is Google), it no longer visible. And I cannot change to another search engine.
When I rename my profile, and work with the one that came with the installation of Portable Firefox, the search works. So something is wrong with my profile.
Does this mean I have to create a new profile? Or does someone know how to fix it?
Is there a way to get these to work in Portable Firefox without having them installed on the host PC? I have Flash and Shockwave, and they work fine, but I've tried every possible .dll and I can't get Real or Quicktime to work...
I've been using the default account in Firefox. How do I copy my various settings for use with Portable Firefox?
Recently updated to portable 1.5, and I can no longer do a "Save Image As" The option is there, but there is no other reaction. I somehow doubt that it is because of the new version, because I believe it was working even afterwards.
Adblock was blocking certain Flash elements before, but the pictures I want to save come up fine on the screen. I can drag and drop to a folder or desktop, but otherwise, the menu option to Save Image As simply doesn't work.
Anybody run into this?
Darren
