Pegasus Mail

Submitted by King DuckZ on August 18, 2008 - 5:31pm

Hello, I've been already searching the forum for threads regarding Pegasus Mail, and it appears that someone succeeded in making it work with PortableApps. Can someone explain me what to do?
I have managed to make PortableApps recognize it, the only problem is that it also finds every other .exe in the Pegasus Mail folder, populating the list with useless links...

CoolPlayer+Portable Crashes on New Machine

Submitted by PaulHarder2 on August 16, 2008 - 2:53pm

CoolPlayer crashes when I move it from one machine to another. It's installed on a Western Digital portable USB hard drive. Both machines run Windows XP Service Pack 2. At the office, I have three monitors (1280x1024 each). At home, I have two monitors (1680x1050 each), but I don't think the screen geometry is what' causing the problem.

[Closed] WinSCP Portable won't launch Putty

Submitted by dragon013 on August 15, 2008 - 6:42am

This bug is addressed in this thread:
https://portableapps.com/node/31634

Hello everybody!

I installed WinSCPPortable and PUTTYPortable via PortableAppsLauncher. Both of the apps work fine until I try to start Putty within WinSCP. The path to PuttyLauncher is correct in WinSCP and even when I try to start Putty via the PuttyLauncher directly no Putty shows up. Is there anything I had overlooked ?

Thanks for help

Stellarium not loading from Portable Apps

Submitted by JP_Cda on August 11, 2008 - 10:22pm

Downloaded and installed Stellarium in the recently-released portable version (Stellarium 0.9.1), but it doesn't seem to load when I'm trying to run it from either the Portable Apps suite, or directly from the application folder.

Environment is as follows:

Western Digital 160GB portable USB drive, with Portable Apps Suite 1.1 on Win XP SP3 (also did the same thing with SP2).
