I have Google Chrome portable 37.0.2062.120 which I alternate between two machines.

As of yesterday, each time I move my PA stick between machines and start Google Chrome, it deletes my profile. If I look in settings I see a message to the effect that another programme corrupted my profile and it has been reset to default.

Copying my profile from backup restores normal operation. Closing and re-opening Chrome on the same machine causes no problem - only swapping between machines.

I have 3 stickies set up with one of then set to stay on top, but when i start the app up the one that's set to stay on top is always missing.

The sticky is also the only one that rolled up.

I can drag it from the manege stickies to get it back so it's not getting deleted.

The portable version of Foxit Reader - ever since - can not remember the custom stamps that can be created with the appropriate function.

It is a shame!

You lose a great feature and also it is very tedious to rebuild each time stamp.

I find it strange that no one has noticed.

Upgraded from skype 4.something to 6.2 (today) as the older skype versions don't seem to work/login anymore. (maybe a chinese firewall thing, i live there?)
Anyway on my newer laptop 6.2 works fine, on my older 11 years old lenovo i get: Failed to get proc address for GetLogicalProcessorInformation (Kernel32.dll)

on startup, says it's a fatal error. end of skype on my desktop?

My opera portable stopped running. It does not even open. It doesn't show up in the task manager. All my other portable apps work. The PA launcher has been updated. The Opera version was uptodate the last time I used it. I have also reinstalled it. It simply does not run at all. I even tried a brand new portable install on my desktop, and it will not run. Any thoughts? Would a lack of admin rights prevent it from running? My IronPortable runs fine on the same computer.

Since today (11 September), I am unable to set the home page in Portable Chrome. It's defaulting to the "administrator settings", which requires a particular local homepage.

This doesn't seem very portable. I thought portable apps were meant to have very limited footprint on the system they're running on. Plus I usually use about:blank as a homepage because it's faster to load.

Stellarium 0.13 does not work on laptops anymore. Older version did work on them. The New version requires Windows 7 and a 3d graphic card. The older versions worked fine without a graphic card. There is suppose to be a MASE version that suppose to work in these cases. Just passing along the word.

afaict, clamav is the only antivirus that is flagging notepad2 (the paf, not the main-exe) as a trojan...

my question, assuming that it is indeed a false-positive, has to do with why i was not able to locate any mention of it in the forums...

I've installed the portable app of XMind and WordWeb along PortableApps' other apps on my flash drive. When I click on PortableApps' start.exe XMind doesn't show a shortcut on the left side and WordWeb has 4 entries.

What do I have to do that these two apps show one entry each like previous installation of other apps?
